Good location with great service
Located near Gurney and Feringi beach. Quite location.

Service was good but sadly hotel is very old. Air-cond is cold, only the speed can be adjusted and not the temperature. The shower is very weak and so is toilet flush.
Food at coffee house is very expensive for such an old hotel.
Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website especially for the gym, it looks nothing like it. There's only a treadmill and a bench with '1' dumbell....
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is 7minutes away from Straits Quay, a must see tourist location

it was a nice room, bare essentials were provided.

since we were there for sight seeing and food hunting, it was great that that the rooms were clean and hassle free. It's located at a more peaceful side of Penang, about 15minute drive from Gurney but totally worth it.

The hotel is nice looking, clean and comfortable. We came on an ad hoc trip to Penang for 2 nights. We were pleasantly surprised with what we saw upon arrival. Copthorne was a blessing for us. Its very easy to find. The price is fair considering its great location with a beach access. Perfect for romantic couples who love to take a stroll on the beach or watch the sunset. We would definitely come back here again!
