staff at reception gave us great restaurant recommendations (NB Kabaya at the Seven Terraces Hotel), There are two pools, both are fabulous. I used also the gym, which has good seaview, A/C, spacious and good equipment. Executive lounge on 6th floor was very nice - snacks and drinks from 5 to 7pm.

I enjoyed the hotel's warm relaxing ambience created by it's rich history, clean and cosy room and uncluttered gardens looking on to the calm sea beyond, on top of superb staff service. I couldn't ask for more.

Georgetown has a magnificent heritage zone which is within walking distance of hotel. Fabulous restaurants in the area. Salim at reception was endlessly patient at suggesting itineries and places to eat. The rooms are beautiful. You can hear the waves from the bedroom. I would love to come back to this hotel

sEverything is perfect - the location, the room, the welcoming staff, room service.
Except both the morning breakfast was a big disappointment - dinning room staff seems unmotivated, no smiles and unattentive, occasionally missing from their stations and slow in providing services. The food is unfitting for a 5* hotel and the food is the same for both the consecutive days we were there.

A wonderful stay right on the coast of Penang. The hotel staff was superb and the the rooms were huge. We stayed in the older wing, but we thought it had more of a historic character to it.

Amazing Heritage Hotel with Excellent Service

Perfect Ocean View, staff were very helpful and the gardener even offered me a young coconut from Garden for free, and the Pool is amazing too! Highly recommend the Free Shuttle Bus Service to their Sister Hotel, Lone Pine Hotel, you can enjoy the pool, the beach and the stunning sunset there.
