I recommend this hotel very highly. The hotel staff and management were very professional and personable. I and my team were very comfortable and the food was great. Penang is a great island and one of the best places I have been. Penang is truly the "Pearl of the Orient."

it's the newest hotel on the island. the room space is big and comfortable and neat/clean. the breakfast buffet are great. the staff are friendly. its location are good where it's near the island biggest shopping centre, restaurant and penang int'l airport. its good for single traveller hopefully the management of the hotel will remain it cleanliness and the it high standard. for leisure, i would suggest hotels along gurney drive.

Excellent hotel to stay if you are doing business in this part of Penang plus shopping. For me, was here shopping & subsequently sent relatives to airport was a breeze. Room & facilities are in good condition although the shower water pressure was not strong enough to my liking. Gym facilities is state of art with great views of surrounding areas. Swimming pool is small but ok for kids. Hotel Need to place more trees/shades at the pool as it is fully exposed to sun as it is on the rooftop of gym.
Staff are pleasant & checking in was a breeze! Security of hotel very good too as need keycard to access lift & room. Overall good hotel to stay!

great location but small room
Queensbay is just nearby and it is not far from Penang airport

I feel the air-condition is too cold.
And I don't feel conformtable about the pillow.
The location is great as I can find a lot of canteens and shops in Queensbay nearby.
And hotel provides very good driver to us for travelling in Penang. But it charges high.

leave more time if you need shopping

I and my family enjoy stay in this hotel. Near to shopping complex and easy to find food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had very good facilities such as gym and swimming pool. The hotel give us free access to internet. Very good view hotel. I'm really satisfied with my stay in Eastin Hotel. Hope to visit again next time.

The pricing is a little high for the area (approx. 25% too high)-the hotel is clean We enjoyed our stay due to a great location for where we could shop a the next door larger mall - more upscale area. Would consider this hotel again if our family is with us. Did not include breakfast with our stay here as we usually do as it was out of normal range (we normally always include b'fast). Best bedding and pillows at any hotel we have ever stayed at. You could live in the bed with a remote control and room service. Pricing way to high
Restaurant Tip:
go to the next door mall for shopping and good food - a great restaurant is nando's both located at the next door mall. great yogurt place is connected to a doughnut shop in the mall area very safe. it is the area that was hard hit a few years ago with a major tsunami that killed many throughout not only here but several asian coastal cities and towns that has been refurbished and restored to a much more upscale area.
