Nice cake hotel
I really like the cake very good, I love it a lot and give it a 100 marks!

Overall, I love the room, clean and nice. The room service is fast and very friendly. I can get what I want. The best part is the cake I bought is a coffee cake, the price is reasonable, the taste, sweetness is prefect! I love it so much. I will come back to the hotel for the cake. Food wise, is good. Nice location, good food, I am very satisficed.
Nightlife Tip:
Can walk along the beach and find lots of good food around for you to choose from. Try local food.

My stay there was good. The staff was polite. Room was clean. It would be better if there is Wifi in the room instead of cable.

Clean and big room along Gurney Drive.
All amenities in the superior room. Breakfast nothing to shout about. Very ordinary buffet breakfast.

Friendly staffs but very limited car parks

this is my first time staying at Penang Island. Reason choosing this hotel is because good comments posted on Agoda. However, i wonder why this hotel allows public to park at its car parks. Have seen many non-guest's car went in/ out freely. Thought a 5-star hotel should have its own private car parks reserved for guests only. There's a night when i drove back hotel, entrance of car park just shown Full because of a party held at the hotel. At the end, me and my pregnant wife had to walk 5 minutes back to hotel.
Besides that, breakfast buffet provided at hotel restaurant does not fit to its 5-stars standard. I can easily find a better buffet at any 3/ 4 star hotel.
Anyway, i would suggest people to stay at this hotel during business trips, NOT for holidays.

I certainly recommend this hotel for short stay - though it is not near sandy beach, it is next fantastic seafood restaurants.
Of course, you will like it better if you do get a good deal from Agoda!
Restaurant Tip:
Go Bali Hai and order whatever you like to eat. Very good food and not so pricy. Steamed Fish is great; oyster is big and fresh @ Rm8 a piece.

Nice hotel for the price, It's short of a 5 star standard though. Location is fantastic, food right at the doorstep & 10 mins walk to the Mall. Right by the sea but there's no beach around.

With the strategic location, it provides good service, with nice sea view.
Nice foods are available with walking distance.

It is located along Gurney Drive, the food heaven. Food and drinks are easily accessible. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are well-maintained.
Restaurant Tip:
Food along Gurney Drive is generally good.

Decent hotel
Good location with lots of casual restaurants nearby

needed some upgrades in the room. sink was clogged but maintenance staff was quick to fix the problem. telephone didn't work because the bathroom phone had to be hooked in a specific position so other phones can be used.

Have a relaxing holiday. No need to drive around as the food stalls and Plaza Gurney is just nearby.
