"Great service from the heart"

It was my first time staying in Evergreen Laurel Hotel. The staff are friendly and warm. the room was comfortable to meet my needs though i stayed for only a night. I was able to access to local food easily on my own and thus enjoying the night walk. I will definitely be back for my next trip and recommend it to my friend.

Very good rate, huge room with exelent service

Book on the same day of arrival, mistaken booked for wrong date, easily changed with no extra charge. Room was 100% made up in very professional way. Cleanliness, make up bed, everything was just fantastic, awesome.
Would like to return to this hotel in my next visit.

Did not live up to my expectation!

Well stayed for a day to attend a conference held there
Was a little disappointed with my room
D lighting was a little too dim for my comfort and the air condition in my room did not function well. had to lower the temperature to below 10C and yet it was not cold.
The cashier was a little rude and abrupt when we went to check out. To me the hotel does not live up to its standards!!
The only good thing is the location of the hotel .

Fair service. Hotel is strategically located and clean too. Staff were generally friendly except that concierge is normally unavailable. Could improve on getting someone to share 'idiot proof map' as am an idiot on road and find it frustrating to locate for the famous cookies 'tau sar pia'. But when found it, it was spectacular and a MUST try for first timer. Learnt from a local that the biscuit is best when HOT. Thus, it was tantalising to our taste bud, and to add with coffee is heavenly hmmmm yes delicious :)
Restaurant Tip:
Lots of variety at the hawkers and if you are a first time and unsure if the stall serve good food, look out for the queue. Though the quality has changed over the years but an adventure for first timer.
