Good Service Provide by the hotel management

Overall the Hotel in Good and convenience location.Near Gurney Plaza and Gurney Drive. The hotel very clean,the staff very polite and friendly. Just the room pillow not so comfort.If can the hotel corridor stannd-by the water dispenser.

Great location and high quality Hotel

I have stayed at the Evergreen Laurel many times in the past, this visit was much like all the others - the Hotel is very clean, comfortable and the staff very helpful. We stayed for 1 week for business and found everything to be good. The breakfast in the morning is very good (especially earlier when there are not many people). Overall the Hotel was very good and I will be staying here on my next visit.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit the Burmese Temple which is within walking distance of the Hotel, it is very interesting.

Great location & value for money

this was a recce trip for a later trip in the month with my thai friends. the hotel is located in the famous gurney drive nearby plenty of food and beverage outlets. a nice walk along the drive presents you a vibrant nite life. the rooms booked offered value for money for the city view rooms. rooms were comfortable with free coffee and tea making facilities and 2 bottles of water on the house. also came with wired lan internet. overall ok.

the service is bad, they gave me a rotten fruits (apples ) at the room and i asked they to change its but they never change its.
also be careful with your mini bar at your room, check it when you check in.

Room are spacious and comfortable with free internet connection which is very convenient. Room and bathroom are clean and well maintain.
After a 2 years from my last stay, i am surprise with the improvement of the hotel staff. They are more friendly and helpful.
Hotel is also not far from shopping complex, restaurant and hawker stall.

Hotel room is just nice, clean, and cosy. Very convenient to shopping mall (Gurney Plaza), restaurants, cafe, hawker food, etc. Fantastic!

Gurney Plaza is just few block next to hotel, walking distance.

It just nice for business and pleasure trip. With the seaview, fantastic! Walking distance to restaurants, cafe, hawker food, shopping mall, banks, etc.
Restaurant Tip:
Lots of nice local restaurants, fast food, cafe, along the road.

The Chinese Restaurant is one place I always frequent when staying at the hotel - good food and service.
Rooms are rather dated and it is time for a refurbishment but overall, decent enough for a short stay.
Check-in and check-out can take time; not sure if it is due to the staff being new or they just operate at that pace. Can be improved upon.
Shopping Tip:
Shopping mall is just walking distance away and one has plenty of choice where food is concerned.

Nice hotel with sea view

Have arrange to sea view room. Comfort bed and room is big. Staff is nice with smile. Location is near to seafood and other food market. Also, near to coast and you can walk along and find a shopping mall. Breakfast is nice but not so many choice. But it is quite far from George Town. Thus, it should take taxi around 15mins. Overall, it still a good choice for that price.
Travel tip:
No room wifi but have LAN cable provide.
