Good hotel
Efficient staff members. Comfortable spacious and clean room.

Good hotel with efficient staff and prompt service. Had the unrefurbished room facing the city. It was clean and spacious. Heard the seaview rooms have been renovated. But the public area like lobby and health club really needs a touch up as its getting really old.

Great Location hotel with good service

we booked this hotel b'cos 50% discount from agoda.
our room was upgraded to bigger room. room - clean
hotel location - good, a lots of club & f&b outlet nearby hotel within walking distance.
hotel facilities not bad - swimming pool, kids club, saloon, spa, gym, tennis.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and we really like it.
Good breakfast, good service and very good location in Gurney just facing the beach and along the street there are many restaurant and hawker food.
We will come back to Evergreen and recommend this hotel to my friends.

Lovely Hotel

When u request for a high floor, u can see the nice view surrounding Penang. It was wonderful place to stay with couple or family. Beside that u can walk from hotel, along the road a lot of restaurant and food stall. There is also a branded shopping mall to visit.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nice view and it is a best choice to stay

Good location but dated furniture

Stayed two nights,Booked two rooms,one double and one twin for the children, uopn arrival no double bed was available as requested and will have to be on seperate floors! when suggested putting the twin togather, they said housekeping wont do it and will have to do it ourselves (at our own risk to be seperated in the morning before bed making up time, Otherwise we can be in trouble!!
We managed to go to another double bedroom for the second night.
You would be extremely brave to make an eye contact with the breakfast staff, they are for some reason not the happiest people in the world, I think it is one way not to comment about the quality of the food.
Staff elsewhere is helpful but by nomean enough as you have to wait a good time to be served.
Pool opening times not quite convenient.
By no mean a Five star!
However still agood value!!

It is great location but average sized room.
Rooms facing the sea is great but comes with a cost

it was a pleasant stay. though it is far from restaurants that serve local food. liked the scenary. agoda's rate was nothing special to the walk in rate.

Good location and lovely hotel
Location, Room Service and the Car Park Attendant!

Stay there with my family. Hotel staffs are friendly, room service is prompt and good location.
One comment: Not negative, but if the swimming pool at the level 2 need to improve in terms of cleanliness. There is no lifeguard when we were there, but they did put up a notice.

Had a great time staying in Evergreen Laurel. Very near to Gurney Plaza and Hawker stalls. Breakfast was nive too..
