Check in took too long and some rooms were not ready even at 3 pm. Staff were generally courteous.
Travel tip:
Parking and food availability are the main plus es for this hotel. Watch out for very heavy traffic if you are driving. it took me almost 15 min to drive from the hotel to the round about.

Evergreen Laurel Penang doesn't deserve 5 star

The swimming pool is dirty and small. Poolside bar is not operating. Buffet breakfast spread is disappointing and the food quality overall in the hotel is bad. It makes us wonder how Evergreen Laurel Penang actually got thier 5 star status

Nice hotel with good views

When we check-in the room was not ready, so the counter staff offered to upgrade our room and gave us room with 2 queen size beds. But it took him quite awhile to check-in for us, I would say at least half an hour and to me it can still be improved. The room is clean and the facilities are fine, we only tried out the sauna though. Breakfast is nice and I enjoyed it. Overall, nice hotel.
