great hotel - as the star rating indicates
location and the buffet dinners

absolutely no complaints. this is a quiet area and close to bus services, (101) so is very convenient for travel to george town. from there you can get a bus to almost anywhere on the island. that is if you have the time for busing around. otherwise car hire is easy, or taxis.
Restaurant Tip:
there are not too many good restaurants near the hotel, but, the hotel has excellent food, and reasonable prices.

i quite like this hotel, especialy in good location, is just a liitle bit which i dont like it is the water supply in bathroom which is not big enough.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
good location, 15 minute walk to the hawker centre...

The hotel's customer service is spectacular. It is very efficient. The staffs there are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a so/so. Not that great but still worth a try. I would definitely come back to this hotel again if I had the chance. The rooms are big and spacious.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile
Easy accessibility, good view and spacious room.

we booked for 5 nights and had a lovely 8th floor corner room facing the sea. room was very spacious, bed was super king size! service was good. winnie at the tours/transport dept was very helpful in checking out bus routes and booking of car. a very short walk to guerney drive food stalls - yummy and very affordable food. also a short walk to gurney plaza, a good shopping mall. very easy to get on the bus either at kelawai rd just behind the hotel or burmah rd which is two roads behind. we got round penang island by bus and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. much recommend this hotel to all who love to explore the island by foot and public transport.

Fantastic hotel and service is good
Location of the hotel is convenient

Room is comfortable but have bed bugs. Easy to look for food but the traffic at gurney drive especially saturday night is worst. Service is friendly. Great view especially thoes rooms face gurney drive.

Located at a strategic location at Gurney drive and town. Also close to Penang road where the night life is good.
Restaurant Tip:
Bali hai located at the same road is a good seafood restaurant although its a bit expensive but the food quality is good.
