Flamingo Hotel has one of the best service staffs I've ever come across. They go the extra mile to make our stay very pleasant and memorable. I will definitely stay at the hotel again. Location wasn't the best but it was easy to get a cab and move around.
There's nothing much in the vicinity but I guess the hotel pretty much has it all. I was very impressed with the lunch buffet provided at the hotel, the variety was surprisingly extensive. Excellent for the price you pay.

The hotel is close to beach and we had an ocean view. Beach is reasonably clean and there are sea sports available. Dining and beers are not cheaper comparing with Spore. Room is very big and spacious good for families with 2 kids. Room is very wornout and old decor. Location wise it is 20mins away from gurney and Georgetown. You can rent van for ten pax for 50RM an hour
