Good hotel on the beach in Tanjong Bungah.

good hotel, though i requested high floor, was on 8th floor. the buffet breakfast has a large selection of various foods. a 40-45 minute drive from penang a/port, depending on traffic conditions. easy access to george town by public transport - bus stop on road outside hotel. 3 bus routes, all terminating at the jetty. pool area pleasant, with easy access to beach area. an enjoyable stay.

was a pleasant stay, but the minus part was the toilet drainage system is poor. literally we had a floated toilet and maintenance take about 1hr to reach my room by that time we already felt asleep

Staff is friendly and we had a great night with sea view room.
We had a romantic trip and for sure we will come again!
Restaurant Tip:
we rent a car so we can tour around the island as it is only a short drive away from the hawker foods paradise of Gurney Drive

Good hotel with great views

My wife and I stayed her for five nights in February.
Great large pool Good breakfast,Super views over sea from balcony. The hotel sits next to beach where the water is like a hot bath. Watch out for pieces of broken glass on beach as I picked up several. Clean hotel very well situated for bus to Georgetown and Tesco shopping centre only 2 RM on Bus.
Free bus to town provided.
Restaurant Tip:
Good Indian restraunt accross the street with good prices

nice location. decent beach which is much nearer to town than feringhi. the rooms have open air balconies which face the sea. cleanliness is acceptable but the furnishing and bathroom are rather dated in design and not well maintained. service quality is patchy and not pro-active.

Nightlife Tip:
Newly nightlife spot, straits quay, not far from the hotel. Can go there for a drink or photo session.

Big room with a great view of the sea.

the best hotel of our stay in mayalsia. above the level expected. bus stop right out of the lobby which is recommended. taxi is a little faster but not much due to constant traffic on penang. only problem found was a little mold in the bathroom that needed attending to.
