Lovely beach hotel with first class standard

2nd time staying at hardrock penang, it has become a must stay hotel for me during my trip to Penang.
We came to Penang for 4D3N and decide to end the trip with a relax touch hence squeeze in the last day to stay at Hard rock.
Not to missed the massage, we choose to have it at the outdoor cabana rather than the indoor massage, while having the massage you can enjoy the bird chirping and the sound of the seawave..
The morning buffet breakfast is great with various variety for you to choose from.
Also lastly is the pool, they are man made beach pool and c/w pool bar, great way to relax.

Great hotel to stay in while in Penang. Love the pool and its locality near the beach. Favourite room is the lounge where you have a courtyard that leads into the pool. Simply amazing

Very noisy hotel!!! The live band performs until 12 midnight and it is extremely noisy.
There was the Hotel anniversary celebration during our stay and the party seems fun (we didn't join anywhere) but the music is extremely loud and noisy.
It might be fun for those who likes night life, parties and loud music but it is not our cup of tea.

I like the king club lounge as easier to check in and out. And also having breakfast and afternoon tea. However, waiting for more than 1 hour to check in is too unreasonable. I was almost fall to sleep and tired too.
I can't enjoy the beach side as it was an event organized there. Only with the Ticket pass is allowed to in.
Room is good but there was a spoilt desk lamp.
Staff is good and friendly.
The drink : Long Island ice tea was not standard when I ordered for more than 2 glasses.

i truly enjoyed during my 1 night stay in hard rock hotel penang. i like the rock atmoshere in the room & hotel lobby.however,the room is not well maintain & with bad smell.for the cleaniness of the room ,i will rate as poor. the hotel does not have much facilities, no sauna, no jaccuzi...however, my children enjoyed themselves very much in the playground feature swimming pool, i hope the hotel will upgrade more playground feature in the children pool in future.

Great relax holiday and nice spacious room!

We took a flight to Penang vide Subang Airport and rented a car to get around in Penang.
The hotel was impressive with nice room and we were lucky to be given a pool and sea view.
My son enjoyed the pool and the teens club where the it offered PS3 and Xbox games for free although he did mentioned it was not the full version but the trial version.
Shuttle buses were also provided to the night market near by but we only found that out after walking about 1 km from the hotel to the night market and took an enjoyable trishaw ride back to the hotel thereafter.
Overall, we enjoyed the trip and the hotel and will be back soon!
