Break fast was expensive we went out the to local cafes for break fast, swimming pool was good happy hour at 5-8 every day, night market at the front door, disco next door and local cafes all at walking distance. We would have preferred a room with a balcony and a shower recess as we had to step over the bath

Muslim hotel!
Hotel is right next to the beach.

Was surprised as all the guests except us were arabic ppl. I can say that as most of the ladies r only showin their eyes.
No problem with arabic ppl but i felt little bit uncomfortable to wear bikinis or tank tops cos i felt like im the only cheap chick in the hotel. And i wanted to respect those ppl.
So even the hotel has nice swimming pool right next to the beach, i didnt go for sun bathing or swimin as i hav only small swiming wear.
But ppl say now is actually ' arab season' for penang.

we love staying in this hotel, the hotel was very clean, well maintained, well managed as well, and near the beach (you only need to walk from its swimming pool area). our children were very happy staying in this hotel... we love to come back.. it is worth it hotel...

the hotel has fully satisfy its branding. i was expecting much from the hotel before check in and it totally did not disappoint me. the street leading up to the hotel is filled with a lot of vendors. so if you are hungry then you wouldn't have any problems finding some amazing tasting food. the room looks very clean and tidy and very spacious. the bathroom is very clean too. one thing not very good is that the pillows are very thin and its not very comfortable to sleep on it.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff

Spent 5 nights at this lovely hotel. Location is prefect on Batu Ferringhi and to visit other attractions. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff of the hotel are very accommodating and obliging. Good food at the hotel restaurant. Especially love their breakfast with a broad selection of cuisines.

The decoration of the room is nice but dirty!
U can have watersport, body massage, foot massage at the seaside.

Never never stay in a corner room although it is much bigger compare with other room. I can see dust on the table and a few dead flies. There's also a dead cockroach inside the bath tub! Besides that, I can also saw a stain on the top of the blanket -.- im very dissapointed with the room!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can enjoy the watersport nearby the seaside for example, banana boat, parachute, motorbike and more. Unless you are looking for fake branded bag then nothing else you can buy in the night market which is next to the hotel. Well, theres a few massage shop with very cheap price. Never ask hotel to arrange a cab for you, they will extra charge you. If u are looking for a cab, look for urself outside. At least u get to bargain the price with the taxi driver.

Great location, value for money
Situated in the midst of the Night Market (Pasar Malam), plenty of activities for kids and great massage palours nearby

I visit Penang yearly and have been staying Holiday Inn Penang for past 3-4years. I like its welcoming staff and convenient location. Will recommend this hotel to anyone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's only a short taxi ride to the attractions such as the Spice Garden, Butterfly Farm, Penang Hill, Hard Rock Cafe.

Overall Feel During my Stay

Overall the feel of the hotel is quite okay. Just that we are unhappy about the service there. We book our hotel room via online [1 King Bed Sea Vw Beach Wing], after we check in and went up to our room, to our surprise we are given a 2 x super single bed. So we call the front desk and was told that our room is not ready. We waited like almost 2hrs for our 1 x king size bed to be ready. Therefore, i feel that the hotel management should look into this and better the service. Other than this, the food is nice.. I would love to see more entertainment provide by the hotel.
