Cool, relaxing with nothing much to do
Novelty of staying in Penang Hill, Very Friendly Staff (including the lady serving breakfast), and "away from the city" feel.

Good if you just want a relaxing stay with nothing much to do. The very friendly staff adds to the charm. However for the facilities offered, it's not worth the money. While the breakfast lady was very friendly, the breakfast spread with 3 slices of bread each and coffee/tea is too miserable. Another thing that irks me is that the workers in the nearby spice garden and aviary switch on their radio loudly all through the night, so try not to get a room facing the front of the hotel where the spice garden is.

we reached the middle of the night in the penang hill train station. train gone. fortunately, we met with people who are familiar with the hotel management. we were picked up using a 4x4 jeep. only one access road to get there and had to use a jeep. the scenery is beautiful and amazing, i really hope the way the service was as beautiful scenery. it should be added to the website how to get there because the location is not in the middle of the city.

Good service hotel

The hotel service is good. The workers are good and hospitality. However, very limitation workers are work on restaurant. The food is prepare upon request. Not much can expect for breakfast even breakfast is included. However, there is a hawker centre nearby the hotel.
There is a small bird park attach with the hotel. Free entrance for hotel guest. My kids enjoy the bird park much.
Restaurant Tip:
For meal, there is a hawker center at Penang Hill. Lots of variety(local or western food) with reasonable prices.
