Bring a mug of coffee to the hotel café side walk at night is one of the best thing to do.
Beautiful view of Penang is right in front of you. Its an awesome thing to do for couple.

Cool, relaxing with nothing much to do
Novelty of staying in Penang Hill, Very Friendly Staff (including the lady serving breakfast), and "away from the city" feel.

Good if you just want a relaxing stay with nothing much to do. The very friendly staff adds to the charm. However for the facilities offered, it's not worth the money. While the breakfast lady was very friendly, the breakfast spread with 3 slices of bread each and coffee/tea is too miserable. Another thing that irks me is that the workers in the nearby spice garden and aviary switch on their radio loudly all through the night, so try not to get a room facing the front of the hotel where the spice garden is.
