Went up Pg hill on the 2nd day of Hari Raya, big crowd everywhere (including finding car park and awaiting for train). After 2hrs, reach the hill top. Not difficult to find the hotel as it's the only one up there. The room is located upstairs, unfortunately no lift to go up (inconvenient for disabled/old ppl). Room is big with big nice window to view outside scenery. Toilet is clean and spacious with nice hot water, again unfortunately no fan hood to dry the toilet floor. No TV in the room, thus remember to bring books or something to occupy you at nite. Another thing worth mentioning is to remember to try out the Segway (rate is cheap and generous). Breakfast is just boiled egg and bread/butter.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Garden behind the hotel offers you marvelous view of Georgetown esp. the nite view.

cozy up at the penang hill during sunset with cool view of penang habour and been honoured to stay in room number 'one' of most popular historical person for penang knight ,tributes to the late richard buckminster fuller (nicknamed bucky). until his death in 1983, bucky was the specialist consultant to the komtar project.
the room is under new refurbishment,.i'm so lucky to get the same old price charges. night staff were friendly and i'm indebted to all of them for the free bbq dinner (indian couple) upon their farewell party ! thank u so much. fyi: there's no room service after 2100 hours !
Nightlife Tip:
Nothing much,.,but WIFI rated 5 star, so bring along your I-pad

Friendly staff during day but did not appear staffed by night as all left by 7 30 due to funicular time table, no food after 7 30 , no room service, no other guests in hotel. Rooms not clean, no fresh linen provided and located in a cuboard myself.
Undercooked boiled eggs for breakfast . Odd atmosphere with unexplained noise and activity prevalent. Slept with lights on..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is located at the top of Penang Hill affording spectacular views over the city, the 5km walk down is very challenging but the funicular proved costly if used every day . The hill is reached otherwise by 4by 4 vehicles.

Good for enjoying sun-set and sun-rise due to the location. however, aware that there is no public transportation to get to this hotel due to the maintainence of cable car. as a result you need to for round trip to the hotel driver. staffs there are willing to help you sincerely. hotel condition and cleanliness are not good.i didnt have food there so not sure the standard. in conclusion, the price is resonable and cable car will be fixed at the end of March.

滞在時にとても良くしていただき、とても満足でした。また、眼下にジョージタウン・ペナンブリッジが見渡せ、綺麗でした。ただ、部屋は薄暗く、浴槽もいまいちでした。
