The room size is big. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. The hotel is a bit far away to the airport and no fitness facilities. Overall, it's nice to stay and value for money, it's rennovated but it's not that kind of elegancy. It's near the beach but the beach has no activities and it's belong to the hotel. The hotel is a bit far away from the airport and located in the city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's not located in the city area.

The hotel beautifully best,excellent location,good lay out on,the room is clean and beautiful set up esp. our balcony over looking to the water, the all staff very excellent from door man, reception,room boy ,restaurant staff very helpful,friendly and welcome us heartily, open arm. Hotel had shuttle bus to shopping center and night market w/c very cool my children love it In behalf of my children and my self we are very happy our stay in Hydro hotel, and we paln to come again next year with our fasmily friend.
Hydro is the best hotel we used with our entire trip in malaysia, we love it and very satifistied for all the services and facility,staff
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel near by beach,down the road the night market shopping center had distance but is not problem, because they've shuttle bus run to city center,shopping center, and even night marketwhich only down the road .

The hotel is just at the beach with a reasonable price. The food variet is very nice. The lobby is so nice as u can have coffee and tea in a panoramic veiw. The swimming pool is nice. The room's balcony is refreshing and quit big. there was a long delay before check-in with all the customers. Everyone was angery at the time. I also noticed this upon check-out, as i was delayed a lot and i saw the new customers complaining.
The hotel has no private beach but you need to cross the street to go to the beach and that beach has no water sport or any sort of nightlife. The hotel is good and i would really recommend the hotel. It is very clean with good variety of food. The internet is fast and not very expensive. The rooms are very clean and nice. I doubt that you can find a beach hotel by this price. That what made me to stay there several times and send my friends to them, too.
I would suggest you to stay there and enjoy the beach, and otherthing with reasonable price.

Clean room , plenty of space for superior room Check in and check out very slow. Miami beach near Hydro hotel is connected safely by over head pedestrian bridge.I like the beach because is very private , claen and the sand over there is fine.
My kids enjoy very much on the beach.The only set back to me for the trip was check out take very long time. The checking in and check out system got to be improve so that no waiting too much time.

The sunset view at balcony 1. Lobby no aircon and alway long queue for check in / out.
2. Front desk staff not helpful and not professional.
3. Internet service not working called front esk for 3 times and wated for more than 30mins end up the staff ask me to bring my laptop to them and not they send staff to room to rectify.

Lift slow, not convenient to the beach The room is big but our bed had more than 10 ants. Lift very slow had to wait very long. Peak season had to queue for breakfast. Request to change wet towel but not enough. Swimming pools towel also not enough. When go to beach had to walk over the bridge only can reach. If possible no nead to climb the stairs case to the beach.

The room is excellent facing the big sea with a big nice balcony the reception service was poor, but probably due to Hari Raya and there is a shortage of manpoer. But the service counter is good with seats. The room is very nice, except that the water heater is not working. The toileteries are too little. The balcony beach sets are good, but they are not clean up at all when I checked in.
The main door is totally not sound proof. I was woke up early the morning by children next door even though they are not playing, just talking.
The car park need to be light brighter at night. Is too dark for security. The morning breakfast was a so crowded that every have to rush for seats.

Slow during our check-in, may be it was festive season, only 2 front desk staff are there at 6.30pm.
This is not a beach front hotel, luckily they have a special bridge that link from hotel swimming pool to a public beach across the road. Room is big enough for 2 adults and 2 young children and aircond is very cold. It is not convenience for guest without own transportation, the nearest place for food is few km away, unless u want to eat at hotel. BTW, i have to pay RM22 for my 10 yr old daughter's breakfast and there is not much choice provided (bread, local fruits, porridge, rice, rendang, sausage, egg, coffee/tea/juice only.)

- It seems all rooms are with balconies and the seaview.
- The hotel location is not so far from the parks.
- Prices are afforadable and good food. - A bit far from the city centre (Goerge Town) and the beach town. However, it's easy to commute by using bus.
Overall, staying in the Hydro hotel was quite pleasant. It's good for people who wanted to have a quiet atmosphere, relaxing holidays, not so busy like in George town. You can take bus (#101, 105) going to the city centre or to the beach town (Batu Ferrighi), just 1.40riggit/person. We had a delicious Rammadhan buffet dinner which was just 35riggit/ px. as their promotion.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : To go around and explore more than the hotel and beach, simply take the bus which stops at the front of the hotel.

Great Hotel, good customer service, nice breakfast and clean rooms Internet Service times should be extended and should also be available on Sundays. Only other point was that the hotel is not near the beach. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. We arrived at the hotel at about 5.00pm after our flight was delayed by about 6 hours due to heavy rain which closed the airport. This was more than compensated for by the great service provided by the hotel. Our room was upgraded from superior to deluxe without even making a request. The staff were very friendly and the food and atmosphere was great. We wish we had some extra days at this hotel.The reviews on your website greatly assisted us in choosing this hotel. I will certainly recommend this to my family and friends
Shopping Tip : Night market is just about ten minutes from the hotel. Free Shuttle to and from Georgetown was helpful. Great food at the hotel and nearby.

Free parking, free shuttle to town and beach, courteous staff Dirty shower curtain, no airconditioning everywhere except room Convenient if you don't have a car as there is a bus stop in front of the hotel which takes you to the town. Parking is not only free but also secured as there is a guard house at the parking entrance. Very friendly and courteous staff (reception and restaurant).
Very uncomfortable in the lobby and restaurant as there is no airconditioning. Shower curtain is dirty.

The hotel is located at a very nice spot, easy access to the clean and fascinating beach.
the hotel facility is also quite extra ordinary, especially if we bring our kids along, they can play many games, like table tennis,snooker, computer game, etc. The room interior needs to be upgraded, the aircondition back airflow was very dirty and dusty.
The internet facility is lousy, we cannot even get connected, yet we had some coffee at the coffee shop just to get wifi connection, but it did not work.
The waiting time to get confirmation of the room from the front desk was terrible. Also it is impossible for a traveller like me to have send a passport and credit card copy while on the road. The only equipment I had was a laptop, but you asked me to send a copy of ID and Credit card, how would it be possible. Besides, hydro hotel also was not helpful to send my copy of passport to Agoda, and they asked me to go to business centre and they would charge me RM 5 per page faxed and I forgot how much for making foto copy. I think the hotel is to commercial.
I also noticed there were many people swimming in the pool without wearing a proper attire as suggested on the board and yet they were freely swimming in the pool wearing full dress, T-shirt, etc.
Another thing, I heard all the time the middle east music. I will suggest if you want the guests to be in a relax mode, please play a nice to hear instrumental music instead of "unknown music".
Another thing , in the morning I saw the other room got newspaper, but our room did not.

- Near Tanjong Bungah Road which is famous for the pasa lama.
- Near Durian Stalls in the Durian season The beach near the hotel is not that nice.
Limited Beach view. Make sure you spend some time relaxing in the pool and the room. It has a nice bacony which overlook the hill. Morning is bright and lively.
Be prepared to travel slowly to the Guaney Plaza in Penang as you will be travelling through a one lane road.

The room is clean & neat. It is a cosy hotel to stay location of the hotel is not convenient not near to food centre nor shopping complex Hydro hotel is value for $$. It is a cosy place to stay. The room is clean & neat with bacony sea view. The hotel provide shuttle bus service to night market, beach and geroge town. The only disadvantage of the hotel is the location is far from shopping centre it take 30 min to go to Gurney Plaza by public buses just outside the hotel.
