This hotel is really very expensive for that quality. It was built many years ago and badly needs a renovation. One not very young taxi driver told us that this hotel has already existed then he was a little boy. This is one of the oldest hotels on the Ireland. That means they have an experienced and friendly staff, but really disgusting rooms. When we put up in our room we realized that it is already occupied by two huge cockroaches and many very small ants. Luckily we had some repellent liquid to strike against these unexpected gests. Bad sheets were grey and ragged, blanket was dirty and beach towels were also ragged. There were not enough beach towels and if you were late you should ask the personnel for then and wait then they bring some. The food in the restaurant was pretty good; all personal was smiling and very helpful. This is located directly on the beach and hotel area is very nice. The Lone Pine Hotel has not one pine, but many beautiful pines on its territory. It might be one of the best hotels on the Ireland if they renovate rooms and be not so tolerant to insects.

This hotel is really very old. In our room we've find two huge cockroaches and a strange smell. The furniture is very worn and out of repair. Bad sheets were grey and ragged.
