Small charming colonial design. Great location.

The bathroom is old and dirty, not acceptable for four star hotel.

We spend five night at the lone pine, it was great. Good location, friendly staff, charming place. But the bathroom is the real weakness of the hotel,it was old and not so clean, not acceptable.

Terrible! Guest Rating: 3

Big bluff! Everything needs to improve, except where the hotel is situated, which is fine.

It was terrible! Not at all maintained, the damp-spots at the walls and in the ceiling were huge! It felt like a military place! The bed cover had big stains and it smelled as mold both in the room and in the bathroom. The TV didn't work so maintenance had to work on it for an hour. The outside area that was connected with the room, was very poor maintained. The restaurant was disgusting and the breakfast very poor. We were supposed to stay for a week, but checked out after one night! BIG FRAUD! This hotel should be ranked as a LOW BUDGET place and it should be very cheap to stay there if anyone would like to...

It's by the beach and convenient.

The refurbishment and cleanliness.

The hotel has always had the colonial feel that I loved but during this stay at the hotel, it was somewhat different. The receptionist were not very friendly and as requested a double bed but upon check in they didn't have the room, they never offered to check for us but we had to initiate it instead. The next day, no note of whatsoever request was even done. We had to call the receptionist again to make sure our request was done. The place looked older than my previous stay and the place was not properly maintained. It didn't give you that "clean feeling". During breakfast, food wasn't replenished, the waiters took a while to clean the tables and it was overall very messy. If you pay attention to the tent, there were like molds growing. It should be cleaned at least once a while. The grass by the pool was growing longer that should be cut. Towels for the pool again was not restocked. As we were looking for a seat by the pool, we also realized that the tables by the pool were filled with dirty plates which we had to get someone to clean. Overall I really do love the place but they should get their staff trained properly and improve on the cleanliness. Impressions always comes a long way.
