Amazing stay with super friendly staff

We were the only guests on that day which was really special. We were treated like a king and a queen, with excellent service and very delicious food.
We went for a nice short walk around the fruit tree farm and was interesting to see and try to identify all the different fruit trees and fruit growing on them.
We also had the whole pool to ourselves which was great, especially because there were spectacular views of the sea and seaside down below. It was a pity that it wasn't durian and mangostene season!
The dinner atmosphere was beautiful with the sunset and accompanying music. Even when a storm came in later, the staff served us food directly into the entertainment room which was very cosy! The staff even provided us umbrellas without us having to ask.
The chef was kind enough to create an authentic Burmese breakfast followed by one of the best chicken dishes I have ever tasted, honestly! They came out to us for a short chat and was nice to hear their stories.
The only negative we could think of was that we had some difficulty getting there on our own. Taxis are few and far between at Balik Pulau, and they don't know of Malihom. Even though there is a sign to indicate where Malihom is, our taxi driver missed it. So it would be nice if transport was provided from Balik Pulau as well as from the aiport and Georgetown.
Thanks so much to all the staff for their hard work to make our stay so memorable! I'm planning to take my parents there soon!

Perfect!

The perfect get a way from the busy city life. Calm and peaceful surrounding with warm greetings from the staffs. Never fail to smile.
The food is marvelous. The portion is big and I recommend you to take their Burmese food menu rather than the western food. Although the western food is as good as their Burmese food. Just to try something new and you will be amaze.
Overall, this is a gorgeous place to spend time with your loved ones.
p/s: pls remember to bring insects repellent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Going up the hill is abit tricky for normal sedan car. Wont be a problem if u have a 4WD drive car.

It was very memorable and different.
We loved the location, the friendly staff and the Burmese cuisine served.

It was very memorable. Malihom is a very eco-friendly resort. You're bound to meet our creepy crawlie friends - snakes, centipedes, mosquitoes, insects, frogs,you name it! The setting beautiful and quite dramatic - you can see Penang bridge view from certain vantage points in the hotel. However rooms are quite small, you can hear insects all night. Be particularly careful of the jungle trekking. Not very safe!!
