Great location indeed but old old rooms

Beds and pillows were really old and uncomfortable. Even the sheets had stains. Other than that, the rooms were ok-clean.

I chose the hotel because my wife and I wanted a place near to the Straits Quay where we had to attend a wedding dinner. We just wanted a place to sleep for the night. We were not disappointed. The hotel's location suited us and the place was nice and clean with the airconditioning system working. Parking was also not a problem.

One of most horrible hotel beds I've ever slept in, each morning I woke up with a sore back. Room is small and old, and the front door uses an antiquated punch key card lock. Furniture needs some serious upgrading. Shower screen rattles, electronic safe didn't work, closet doors couldn't fully open and squeaked a lot, closet light didn't work well. Very small car park. Staff were never at the front desk, we'd always have to wait a couple of minutes for someone to show up. I was so disappointed with the room that I spent my last night in Penang at a relative's apartment instead.
Nice beachfront view though.

hotel ground floor full of sand and wet, no staff to cleaning. the room price quite expensive. nice beach just behind the hotel, good place for relax and can rent bicycle to explore around. good location between town and batu ferringi. a food court just in front the hotel and a pub next to it.

beautiful seaview and good enviroment, comfort for driving and near brand name shopping center and food court at gurney seaside(around 3-4 kilometers. in the opposite direction of road from hotel is wellknown seaside batu feringkitt that is good enviroment and funny place
it is middle class for room and proper for it's cost

friendly and helpful front counter. My daughter left her passport in the room, she discovered it only after we arrived home. We were home almost midnight. After we discovered it, we quickly called the hotel about it. The front counter staff told us that the person incharge of the housekeeping was home. He said he will try to contact those who did the housekeeping. After waited for half hour we still couldn't have an answer. We will so worry because my daughter left the room very early, around 8:45am. We thought we might not be able to find the passport anymore. Someone already checked in the room. They might have taken it. Malaysia passport is very demanding in the black market. We called the hotel again, the front counter staff wanted us to give him another half an hour. After about half an hour, he called back that the passport was kept in their hotel safety box. Finally we can relax and sleep peacefully. We went early the next morning and got the passport back. We appreciated for the staff honorsty and help. We love to stay in this Hotel!
