Good location, quiet and an excellent view
Easy access to Penang and tourist beaches
6
Nice sized room, quiet at night, wonderful view and really good hawkers food court within 30 seconds walk. Good pool.
Room was on the dirty side and surprisingly the pool restaurant was "out" of the very limited vegetarian Asian options - only western food was available. Never mind the food court was excellent.
Restaurant Tip:
In the evening eat at the hawkers food court right by the hotel.

Poor F&B services
The restaurant was facing sea and swimming pool
6.3
The Front Office is friendly and courteous.
We checked-in to the room and found there's no bath towel or floor map in the room. Ask the housekeeping who is still busying cleaning other rooms, they only have bath towel.
The room is okay, only there's no double bed available for standard room.
The service during the breakfast was poor. We actually saw a waiter playing with his handphone right in front of the guests. And we actually have to wait for him to clear & set-up our table. And it tooks a while before the table was set-up. No smiling from the F&B service staffs.

Nice hotel good location
Sea view, outside swimming area, shopping

The hotel is 2 minutes walk to the main road, 3 minutes to the bus stop, a 20 minute ride to Komtar. The room was clean and tidy, and was maintained daily to a good standard, though the toilet system took a bit of time and patience when flushing. Across the road is a good food court opens at 1800 with a good variety of food and free wifi and sports TV, and the beer is cold, great on a hot day. Tesco shopping centre with the usual KFC and Mcdonald's is a ten minute walk and a further 10 minutes walking will get you to Cold Storage supermarket, which has a good selection of western foods. Overall a good hotel if looking for a quiet spot.

Your hotel room is your home away from home, with a few exceptions -- hundreds of strangers from every corner of the world have slept there, and the hotel staff may not have the same standards of cleanliness that you do at home. It's nice to have someone fold up your towels and make your bed while you're out exploring the world, but in terms of sanitization, a neatly made bed does not equal a germ-free room.

Great location
Accompany by the sound of wave

Staff are great but the cleaniness does not reach to the par for what I paid. Smelly bath towel and room need serious refurbishment.

Felt very Islamic lots of covered women and no bar
5.7
The room was perhaps a little over priced ( even discounted from the ridiculous Rack Rate)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't expect a beach experience. Penang's sea is filthy. I didn't see a single person in the sea in 4 days. The whole north coast is over built and looks tatty and tired

The hotel is old, not well maintained, the flush in the bathroom is broken, and the water leaked everywhere, but the view from deluxe room is beautiful, overall, with the room price, it's worthed
