Excellent location, nice pool and beach. Food is average, lowerer than actual penang's standard. Overall trip was good. Use Agoda is my first experience, first inpression was conveniece and easy. However still unable to feel the benefits and the trust.Hope Agoda will expedite the billing as soon as possible. Suggestion to Agoda to inform users for best 10 most valued for money hotels e.g in Malaysia, Singapore or others, targeting for upper middle income group.
Restaurant Tip : It is best location, 10 minutes to the best foods serve in Penang.

Room is large and clean. Hotel on the beach. Food is easily available within walking distance. Beach cleaned every morning. Breakfast is predictable with limited food selection. Baby pool crowded with adults. Guests without proper swim wear are allowed in the pool.YUKS
Beach can be noisy with BBQ party. During one night, got firework display at 2am. Jump out of bed when i mistook it for gun shots and flash. Location - Good for kids. On the beach.
Food - good choice of restaurants opp hotel. Korean, Chinese, Indian etc. Food court opp Copthorne Hotel. Outside food court got 3 durian stalls. Buy from middle stall manned by a short dark man. Premium durians for 10-12 MYR per fruit.
Staff - courteous and prompt.
Restaurant Tip : Korean restaurant on opp left of hotel has good service and food. Able to provide vegetarian option.

The location and the view was great because it was facing the beach. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The pool was also very nice. The first night we were there the staff was not very helpful on finding food stalls and giving information on getting around Penang. Overall the hotel was very nice. I would definitely stay there again. The pool and the beach are nice. The water is a bit murky but its still nice. The pool was good size and there were many activities at the hotel. The staff could have been a little more helpful on getting around Penang and giving suggestions as to the food stalls and other major attractions.
Restaurant Tip : Gurney Drive is best reached by bus 101 or 103. The bus drivers were very helpful and will tell you how to find major sites. The food around Penang was the highlight.

good location if you want to stay only at the beach, long stretch of white sandy beach, few people, all suites have ocean view not like other hotels, you have to pay extra to have one no safety box in the room, too far to go to town, taxi cost too much. i can recommend this hotel to friends and relatives ,i will definitely stay at this hotel for our next travel to penang.the pool is good if you have children and, the only problem is they don't have lifeguard at the pool, you have to be on guard if you have children. the view to the hotel suite is magnificent ,you see the ocean and the mountain at the same time,the staff at the front desk were very helpful

swimming,gym,spa,cafe,food and drinks,friendly people. lift have to wait very long need to improvement. this is the first time we use agoda webside and is easy to use many information we like it.the hotel Paradise Sandy Bay Beach Resort is a nice hotel to stay the room is very spacious and got balcony the staff r friendly,polite.We will recomanded more friends to come hear and stay and the location is near to gurney drive we like it very much will come back again in future thank you so much.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : there are place like beautisul beach,jetski,banana boat,sun rise and sun set, is a very good experience we like it very much.

I do not choose the seaview room, but I still can enjoy the seaview, due to the hotel is design for every room can enjoy the seaview. The air condition is too old, even though I already set to the lowest temperature, it is still too hot. I go to penang is because of business trip, but due to penang is around the beach and have many delicious food. So I decide to go with my girl friend and stay at penang privately. She can enjoy the shopping when I visit to my customer.
We choose this hotel from internet, as both of us like beach very much. We are so happy when the moment when we enter to the hotel room, caused it is very nice seaview in front of us. We totally can enjoy the seaview at our room moreover, there is a expanse Terrace with a tea table inside the room. It is a very romantic moment to enjoy the sunset with wine for a couple in the room. We also enjoy our breakfast near by the beach. After breakfast we also can enjoy the activity at the beach, as the beach just near by the hotel. It is a good memory for us on this time penang trip.
Hotel Feature Tip : There is a lot of activity at the beach with just near by the hotel. We can enjoy the beach with out any transportation fee.

Good maintenance of the room facilities. Spacious room to really rest myself. Front dress processing time is lengthy. I was surprised when i entered into my room. It is spacious and the colour matching was so nice (red in carpet, curtain, light gold in mattress). I felt it's a home instead of a hotel room. That day I even met up a beach wedding party, fren and I were too lucky to see the decolaration and setting. The staff are basically freindly and recommonded us some place for food. One beautiful place is the TOY Meseum is just next door of the Hotel, with 3 mins can reach.

Clean room, strong shower, working toilet, very good buffet breakfast spread, easy check-in & check-out Slow lift service, lack of car park space within hotel compound (but they did provide an open space car parking, only it was a 5-min. walk away from the hotel). Actually this is a very pleasant hotel for a holiday as it has a beach front. In fact I believe every room has a balcony and a view of the beach/sea. It's also not too far from town. Having your own transport makes it more convenient. What I didn't like like was the lack of car parking space, which would have been worse if I had been traveling alone and had to carry luggage, etc. They should have provided a space for travelers (especially single) to park the car temporarily to unload, check in, etc, and then drive off to the car park. As it happened, the afternoon I arrived, the car porch was jam-packed and the porter was unable to cope. So I had to circulate a few times, then drop off my passenger and main luggage first, then go off to the open space car park, walking back to the hotel in the hot sun subsequently. Other than that it was a pleasant stay, in spite of the hordes of people staying at the hotel. I would stay at the hotel again but perhaps avoid the peak holiday season in future.
Travel tip : It's a short drive from the hotel to Gurney Drive, which has a coastal road so you can enjoy the sea coastal view, and the sea breeze if you get out of your vehicle. At the same time there is a shopping mall - Gurney Plaza, and some very popular food courts along the road, the most popular being the open air hawkers' centre (synonymous with the the name 'Gurney Drive') near the roundabout and McDonalds' where you can get very good local food, both halal and non-halal. This is open mainly at night for business.

The hospitality, facilities and room condition exceed our expectation. Stuffs are friendly and helpful. No Disney channel for kids on TV. Most of the channel on TV is great for adult but nothing for kids. Paradise Sandy Beach resort is great for family stay as it has spacious room and great swimming pools for kids. The kids pool is partially sheltered, making it very comfortable for adults and children. Complimentary breakfast is fulfilling with various choice of foods to choose. Biggest plus point is that the resort is next to a beach which is what I wanted most.
Restaurant Tip : There's one famous Indian restaurant just right in front of the hotel, further down the road (towards Geoghtown), first traffic light on your right is a food court that have varieties of local food.

We had a great stay here. The room was neat and tidy. The staff were helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was not that great but overall still ok. The only down side is the parking. We need to park a bit far from the hotel as the parking bay was very limited only.

This is my second visit to this after few year, enviroment good, beach clear, staff friendly, penang local favourite food available in the menu. Room with nice scenery facing to beach. I will recommended this hotel too my friend, if i back to Penang I will put this hotel in my priority list.

On the beach, nice spacey rooms with balconies The village where hotel is located is quite undeveloped. Just a few restaurants and that's it. Seawater was murky.

Nice room, nice view, very friendly staff!
nice new years eve beach party. Especially the very friendly staff surprised me every day. Not only at reception, also in the restaurants, bars and shops they were very helpful. Unfortunately the sea is not very clean and clear, but in these matters you can not change anything.
Thank you very much for this nice service to make our stay a pleasant and rememberable experience.
