lobby area- compareable with 2*hotel standard
room and walkway standard, compareable with 3*
in short words, the good times for the carpets and furniture ended already since a couple of years and renovation/ touch up is a must.
service at the pool bar, very friendly and fast, as it looks like one of the few bars in malaysia with good service.
Restaurant Tip:
Lebanese Restaurant in Batu Feringhi, better taste then Darbush and also cheaper. Only one disadvantage- no direct view to the seaside-

Great location but high time for refurbishment

the room we paid is high time for refurbishment especially the superior rooms that faces the road and needed a lil sound proof on the windows.
price a little more expensive during festive seasons due to high demand in the batu ferringhi vicinity.
Shopping Tip:
Not a great place to shop as most stuff are from Vietnam or Thailand and a little more cheaper to get it there. In case you want it then you have to bargain a lot!

Amazing hotel with great service

Enjoyed every moment of our stay in Penang.
The location of this hotel was just brilliant. Walking distance between the pool and beach and all water activities can be charged through the hotel. The included breakfast as always was a treat and one not to be missed. The gymnasium was well set up and the supervisor always keen for a chat after our workout. The proximity to the hills, beach and the night markets which commenced every night 6pm to 12pm is all why it is a wonderful part of Malaysia!
Nightlife Tip:
Get down to longbeach foodcourt for some authentic and culturally diverse range of home cooked meals! It was a pleasure.

this was the perfect place to end our holiday: great rooms, excellent service across the whole hotel, fantastic buffet breakfast, delicious international buffet dinners, multiple pools, generous space for banana lounging, good happy hour for cocktails, great location for night market and night food market, a wonderful in-house palm reader, easy public transport to georgetown, excellent tailors close by(i recommend sparks) and very family friendly.

Was here for anniversary. Flowers (purchase elsewhere) got delivered straight to room and was sitting nicely on bed as we entered room.
Nice swimming pool for family and individuals.
Very good breakfast buffet.
Would definitely come here again.
Couple of minus points.
In the morning, the alarm clock went off from it being set by the previous occupants.
Shares beach area with Holiday Inn. When I was there, the water was not particularly clean. There are many things to do though. parasailing, jet ski.

Modern, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Service outstanding.

this is the 2nd time i've stayed at this hotel, last time with friends and this time with my partner so different rooms. both times the rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and room very warm and inviting.
the service is outstanding as always, staff are friendly and always willing to assist.
location is great as well, close to night markets and hawkers store.
i also recommend trying food at the hotel even though it may be a bit pricier than going to hawkers. but they got lots of variety and their buffet breakfast is a must!

mtaa breakfast, lunch and dinner delicious wonderful
i have enjoyed all the hotel services
swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna very comfortable
many of the services available and very good
we have received flowers on the occasion of the hotel honeymoon
it was a very big surprise to us when they gave us flowers and roses
