Seriously Disappointing
Very chaotic during breakfast; mainly due to tour group. Food spread was also limited and quality bad - really unexpected of Sunway's standards. Front desk staff unfriendly. Had 2 separate bookings for 2 nites' stay. So after the first nite, I wanted to confirm with the Front Desk that the 2nd nite's stay would be in the same room but was was told that I needed to check out. Matter later resolved after further checking by the Front Desk. I was not happy as I had actually informed Front Desk that I had two separate bookings when I checked-in but I guess the info was not passed on.

Great location but can be better
I used to stay in this hotel mostly when I visit Penang on business and personal leisure. The hotel is located at an excellent location of Georgetown with many exciting visit spots and delicious food places for tourists. The hotel room is comfortable and spacious but many things can better including the so called room rate inclusive with breakfast; quality of the food served can be improved since Penang is a great place for food. Some of the food served were hard (rotiboy canai); croissant and Danish pastries were dry; baked beans served seems to be of cheap quality. I went out for breakfast again after trying out the hotel breakfast! Many visitors also complained about insufficient parking lots and I was concerned where should I park my car if it's full since I was driving this trip to visit other places of interest. The sound proofing for the rooms are rather poor as some guests slammed their door and talked loudly that disturb others from resting. Last but not least, the front desk told me that my room rate (deluxe twin sharing) does not come with toiletries (shampoo and bath gel); what a cheap remarks but nevertheless the hotel obliged to my request.
