Nice hotel in Georgetown Guest Rating: 3.5

Reasonably-priced, comfortable hotel near downtown Georgetown, a bit out of the way than the major tourist/historical areas, so it may take a good 15-20 minute walk or more to get to any sightseeing areas. Shopping is a bit closer, though. No room safe, which was a disappointment. Pool and spa are small, and spa was rather chilly (maybe that is supposed to feel nice on hot days?). A fair amount of noise at night, due to nearby market/stalls, but not too bad. Room was overall quite nice, though the bathroom had a moldy plastic bathmat, which you did not have to use anyhow.

This hotel is in a great location, close to shopping buses etc. Staff are friendly and professional. Lots of tips and advice provided on check in. Rooms are large and clean. Good pool area. Not much variety in the breakfast menu and food is not exactly hot. There are however plenty of food options around the hotel.

From the initial welcome to our departure we were very happy with the hotel. The staff were friendly, the choice of food at breakfast was great and the rooms including bathrooms were of good size. We had both lunch and dinner at the hotel and found the food to be of reasonable price with a good range of dishes while very tasty and most importantly it did not make us ill, unlike some other restaurants in the town. The location was reasonable and with the new Times Square shopping centre to open later in 2008 only 5 minutes walk away its location will be even better.

Great Food, great people good size clean rooms - Beds in higher rooms excellent

Road noise in the front rooms can be a problem during busy times if you like to sleep with the windows open and some of the lower room beds while just acceptable could be upgraded (We stayed twice and could compare different rooms)

The room is a little good, food is also good. Staff is polite.

Center of town , transfer is convenient, room is clean, staff is polite.

Bathtub needs repairing, bathrobe is old.

this is a verry good Hotel in a good location in Penang. All is nice. The Staff is verry gentle und helpful. Breakfast verry good. Room for Smokers are available. For 4 Days it is the best Hotel for the price.

Spacious hotel with valued money. If you are looking for local food, the street in front the hotel will definitely satisfy your stomach. Don't miss the drink called "Bat Poh Peng". The only shop who selling the drink beside the CD shop. Highly recommend. I'll consider to stay again in my next trip to Penang.

Overall the room is spacious.

Need some renovation especially the carpet needs to be changed.

If you're looking for just a room or a shower place, the right price to pay for. By the way, it's a great place for hawker and local food (right infront of the hotel).
