Very convenient hotel
Midway between Georgetown and Batu Ferinnghi

We had a lovely stay at this hotel and came back the following week. The hotel is small and personal and because of the size of hotel the swimming pool is never crowded. The hotel is right on the beachfront with a wonderful private bay which is great for swimming. The Hillview rooms get a lot of traffic noise so best to book a Seaview room. A good breakfast menu with plenty of variety. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Nelson.
The front desk is not very efficient and the charge for the use of the wifi is very expensive at RM8 per hour.
Restaurant Tip:
At the start of Batu Ferringhi there is a very good restaurant called the Kampung Sayang which is part of the Sri Sayang hotel.
A la Carte meals with choice of 88 items and as much as you can eat for RM20. Great value and good food.

the hotel is right next to the beach, so it is definitely good for someone looking for sun and beach. however, you need to take a bus to go to the city centre. the lobby of the hotel is decent and nice, but the rooms are old. you can also hear what people of the nearby rooms!

Affordable Rates but Old Furnishing

Regretted taking the Hillview room. Kept waking up at night from the sound of cars, bikes from the main road - very noisy. The room is fairly big but the toilet looks dodgy. Breakfast place looks nice, but the foods served was below par. Very unpleasant to see no action taken against those who wears t-shirt and pant swimming in the swimming pool.

The hotel is located very near to Gurney Drive and many others shopping centres. However the hotel is short of man power. There was only one staff serving at the reception counter. No intercom between rooms. You need to call to the reception counter to connect your line. I have been waiting for more than 3 minutes for the receptionist to pick up my call. My friend had to call twice to get her hair dryer. The room toilet was dirty. Stains can be seen not only on the bathtub but also the towels. We booked for the hillview room but actually the room window was facing the main road. We can't sleep at night because of noisy traffic. Seaview room should be much better but they were fully booked. The restaurant is at the beach side and the breakfast buffet was ok. If not mistaken the Tanjung Bunga beach resort is a 3 star hotel.

nice hotel a bit out of the way 15 min to georgetown and the night life easy to get taxi 15rg to george town 20rg to ferrenghi market.beach is not top class jelly fish in water.great pool very well looked after.5 min walk to great food market cheap food and beer. good indian restaurant across the road small store to buy water, next indian place but closes at 6pm

A clean and child friendly environment for family travelling with children. The staffs are polite with a smile and very helpful. Overall it was a good experience although I was quite disappointed that I had to wait for almost an hour to check-in when my family members are tired and in need of some rest.

Nice place BUT bathrooms really need refurbishing

Friendly staff, very smooth check-in. Rooms a bit small but acceptable. Bathrooms in dire need of refurbishment. There were parts of the bathtub that were black, because the upper layer had been scratched away. Rooms also look like they will need refurbishment soon
