Days at Tanjung Bungah Hotel
Clean sea, nice to take photo, can do outdoor photograpy for weeding, very supportive staff

i'm very happy with my stay. the staff very helpful. the view is nice. the sea also nice for taking outdoor picture. i hope that hotel can provide more variety of food. overall i'm very happy with the cooperation given.

We stayed four night in the t b beach resort and overall, we enjoyed our stay. The swimming pool is fairly big and not to crowded. There is sun around the pool almost all afternoon. Fot those who like it more to lye on the beach, there are also chairs on the beach and it is just down from the pool. The breakfast buffet was OK, but nothing too special. Fruit, all kind of eggs,strange and not too good sausages, toast, corn flakes, prepacked croissants and a selection of asian foods. Our rooms with hillview(read streetview), was old, but clean and very spacious. It s a nice place to go, but dont expect anything too fancy and too modern
Travel tip:
almost any bus takes you to the big shopping mall, direction georgetown. You can also take buses to the penang national parks and there are nice walks to do there. For those who dont want too eat the overpriced food in the hotel and who want to go local. There is a good Indian buffet on the other side of the street and there is a good food court nearby.

if u only need just a bed to sleep

i choose "sightseeing and shopping" simply because if you only need a hotel to sleep, with minimal time in hotel. else, with hotel-ful of angry and unwilling staff, if you need their help, you are just getting yourself a pass to get your blood pressure shooting high(and spoil your holiday). rooms are old, and toilets are very worn.
still, a nice girl at the tour desk made our stay slightly better when she's helpful on guiding us to different places.

Actually the Place is good, I am just not happy with the persons at the reception.
they are not accommodating.
I cannot forget the name of that Receptionist (a bit fat girl)
who dont care about their customers.

Enjoyed the Night Market so Much...

hotel quite far from georgetown 30 min by bus
checking a little bit difficult but other staff very hapefull
hillview room very noisy room quiet old style moquette should be changed and join in bathroom also

Good for relaxing
Bus stop in front of the hotel

The hotel had a good location, where I could take the bus at the front. Although the hotel was a little bit old, I had spend most of my time walking the beaches around, so I didn't spent too much time inside the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to the Penang National park, its 15 minutes by bus and have amazing views.

Another Enjoyable Stay
Location is good for relaxation and not too far to shopping centers and restaurants.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast near the beach and the food was good. The breakfast hall staff was helpful and the place was clean. Hubby had a pleasant time playing snooker with some locals.

Clean, relaxing, ambuience and staff performance

This has been our favourite hotel each and every time we visit Penang. Check-in and out was efficiently handeled by the friendly staff. Room was clean. Drinking water was replenished each day.
Hotel Feature Tip:
A good place to relax and soak up the sea, sun and sand.
