"Great location, but no great smiles"
The staff were unattentatvie at the pool bat and restaurant, I was left wandering round the pool restaurant looking for a waiter. Great room, although the workmanship was poor in some areas. Great location and spa.

this is a great located hotel, and you can walk to all the main sights within 30 minutes. the staff were quite unfriendly, and their english was very poor..my food order was wrong on 2 occasions. room was spacious, and check in was long.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Print off your agoda voucher before checking in..they won't allow you to check in otherwise.

great location
a large modern hotel with all ammenities

great place to stay for centre, also free shuttle bus to their sister hotel thats on the beach so two hotels in one really!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
little india should be visited,, also for some good food with variety eat where all the locals eat red garden/square tucked in the centre behind a carpark gives choice of aprox 50 outlets selling alltypes of cuisine and very cheap

friendly counter staff. checking in and out is a breeze. the room is located just next to the lift. flushing of next door could be heard. that night when it rained, the channel espn was not available. the bathroom is small.
Shopping Tip:
Pranglin Mall, 1st Avenue and Komtar are nearby

We arrived early as our flight was brought forward and the hotel tried their best to give us a room and did what we requested to have our 4 rooms all on the same floor. Excellent service with good quality shower gels etc in room. I must say that they got everything except a comb. The feather pillows were too soft too. Overall we are very happy with their service. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Penang again.

The location of the hotel is awesome. It is near to a shopping mall and also eating district. Moreover, the hotel is very clean.

big rooms, good location
big rooms and good location for seeing Georgetown

only stayed one night, was a good experience. main fault is there is no lift from basement car park to the lobby--excuse was that guests are supposed to stop at the lobby, unload and then go park the car. this is nuts

pleasurable and nice.staffs are very frienly and helpful. location is very convenient and its right in centre of the city whereby it is walking distance to many famous food stalls and shopping malls.overrall i would recommend for business stay.rooms are tastefully furnished and clean.

excellent as usual, the service is exemplary and never fails to deliver. if you stay at the club level you have meeting room facilities, and drinks and food pretty much all day. a really good package when you consider the price.

enjoyed our stay, location very good for exploring Georgetown. Free shuttle to beach is a big plus, and staff very helpful and efficient. Good game of table tennis with pool attendant! Really cannot find fault at all. Did not have breakfast with room deal, so cannot comment on that.
Hotel Feature Tip:
try to get a room away from the lift area, as they are zooming up and down all night and it sounds like a plane taking off if you are unlucky enough to be in a room nearby.

this is my second time staying at traders hotel. reasons staying there is because of the good location of the hotel. surrounded by malls on both sides of the hotel makes my stay worthwhile. food is also available within walking distance. hotel is clean and tidy and also bed is very comfortable. but this time i booked through agoda i was not entitled to breakfast and that is a pity.
