Hotel with an artistic deco lobby

overall, the stay at the hotel has been pleasant and definitely value for its low price.
when you reached the lobby, it was decorated with artistic pieces. however, the management needs to step up and do a routine adjustment for the pieces as quite a number of them are out of aligment. such display made the effort seemed trying hard but not well done.
we were greeted by friendly staffs at the reception and presented with a welcome drink. that was definitely pleasant until a sip of the drink turned my smile upside down into a frown; a diluted orange cordial that tasted very much below average. the checking-in was swiftly done which was good.
the room was clean enough except for some minor unsightly stains on walls in the toilet. we happened to have a room with a fantastic view of a mountain which was a big plus!! the air-con seemed slow to start up but was fine later on and the tv's volume went erratically high and low but i am not a fan of tv so i let it be. cups in the room were covered by a plastic cover, a first for me and that was really nice of them to do that for hygiene purposes. appreciated the extra mile very much. toilet was fine but i wished they had provided disposable toothbrush and toothpaste for guest's convenience.
breakfast was average for the first day but it was quite good for the second day. appreciated the little money plant deco on the table. livened up the morning definitely if you are into details.
there were a shopping center (bukit jambul), coffee shops and a convenience stall in the vicinity. the best part of the shopping center was the supermart and that was about it. the coffee shops nearby offered some nice and tasty local delights.
having said all, the hotel did not do well in some minor and unimportant areas but did well for the more important ones like good price, cleanliness, location and view. i definitely recommend it for guests who are looking for a comfortable and decent hotel with a good price to boot.

we enjoyed our stay at the vistana, the rooms are clean and well maintained. there's some satellite tv channels in english with most being malay or chinese as you might expect. the hotel is in a good location and is near a shopping complex. there's a well equipped gym with free weights and machines and cardio equipment for those who want to stay in shape during their stay. the hotel also has a great pool and spa. we only sampled the breakfast which was ok but nothing to write home about. there's a choice of english, malay or chinese food as well as continental.
the staff are very friendly and always welcome you with a smile.
for longer stays they also have apartments. overall a good four star hotel at a very reasonable price.

great place to stay if you are on a bussiness or training trips at nearby usm or psdc.about 10min to airport.nice, big comfy bed. a well maintained swimming pool for the kids and adults.a variety of selection for breakfast and a delicious food for room service.

Have been here 9 month ago for a few times,rooms still as same as before.But this time no travel magazine and advertisment brochures on the table. Stayed first night with two deluxe rooms joined together.The beds are as cosy as ever and made you not want to wake up.
Cafe with a different organization of foods which have been segregated according to origin.Much better then before.The hotel only needs to add more varities of foods.Missed the friendly cafe front officer who greets customer with a smile and good wishes 9 months ago.

I had a wonderful 3 days 2 nights staying in the hotel. Will definitely come back here again. Very delicious breakfast, very strategic place. Perfect room condition!

Kayu Nasi Kandar Restaurant is just behind the hotel.

good for business but not sightseeing

-staffs are funny that do not know where their own hotel location is when I show them the map(which I picked up at hotel)
-nice breakfast with loads of choices and even Chinese food
-Nice swimming pool
-clean and tidy room
-crazy wifi connection(cant connect to our own room wifi but the other rooms)
-nothing around the area and far from the main town,nearby the airport
Shopping Tip:
Do not stay here if you want to go shopping and loads of food choice
