My stay was great but i think that agoda have to improve for list of room or more info detail for the room. i was thinking the water chalet is have a great sea view. But when i check in got to know that i need to top up to get the sea view.

We were there for a nice, quiet retreat. It was a Good Friday holiday so we expect crowd but were pleasantly surprised that even though the resort was pretty crowded the noise level still bearable. You just need to be early for breakfast as the restaurant was not big enough for the crowd. Either that, or you just settle for late breakfast. We got the chalet at the Temasek block, the furthest from the main block and nearest to the private beach. It was away from the main block so we got the peace and quiet rest we need. Loved the kampong ambience; the peacocks, hens and cocks and doves that freely roamed the ground. The private beach was great! It was clean and water was very clear. But if you were into water sport then you should go to the other end of the resort; closer to the public beach. Saturday evening, must go to the pasar malam which was abt 500m walk from the resort. Lots of nice food and cheap t-shirts and accessories. Overall, it was a nice stay. we may come back with the kids next time.

Thoroughly over-rated. Staff attitude needs re-examination - on three separate occasions we encountered (different)staff who informed us of "rules" in a patronising manner (and it was not as if we were making unreasonable requests). The impression I came away with was that these individuals felt good and superior to be able to say no to a guest. The attitude was the worst that I have ever encountered in Asia.
This place is best left for domestic tourists. We will never be back and my suggestion to the reader is to go to Thailand instead.

relaxing. We were there with 3 families. One family had young children. One family had an infant and we have a teenager. There was something to keep everyone happy.
