Enjoyable with beautiful scenery
Superb view of the ocean and nice beach
6
Overall the whole stay was ok... The downside is that there are lots of black horrific looking birds with red eyes that is perching at the balcony of the room. They look like they just pooped or vomited at the balcony and the beach chair that is at the balcony. Not permitting us to enjoy the outdoor of the room...
Apart from that, the staff all look like we owed them.. The only friendly guy is the one who helped me to check in...

Nice room with a wonderful sea view
9.7
Had a great time swimming at the pool and the beach with my son and husband. The reception was so kind to upgrade our garden chalet boling to water chalet, we were so happy. Had a great sea food buffet dinner and the breakfast was good too. Would recommend friends to stay over. Many ppl complimented our photos taken during our stay.

My boyfriend and me went to Avillion Port Dickson on 1st March 2013, 2 days 1 night, garden chalet. Was out of our expectation, we booked, chose for queen or king size bed, checked in line up waited long time. When our turn receptionist told us only left 2 single beds room, we wonder why last minute informed? About this issue, Avillion hotel group replied was:" Upon booking confirmation, the type of bed is only by request and subject to availability. Our signature rooms are the Water Chalet, therefore we have very limited number of units for Garden Chalets. So unfortunately, when you check-in, there was no king size bed rooms available." I could not accept this excuse, they should be informed earlier, not informed when we checked in. We booked this hotel on 23th Jan 2013, they should be at least inform us 1 day earlier when we check in.
Problem inside room:
1) no extra plug to charge mobile phone
2) 2 plugs spoiled, 1 was for kettle, another was near window there.
3) Refrigerator was not cold enough, unless until the next day morning.
4) Shower bathroom lamp spoiled.
5) 1 dirty towel left in bathroom.
6) WIFI very poor
7) provide 1 door access card only.
8) faucet of bathtub dropped.
not worth it at all.

Gorgeous hotel, great staff and lovely location
Location, rooms, food, staff, sunsets!
10
This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel as we really loved it last time we were here, and I expect to be back sometime in the future, again!
The location is on a private beach, though adjacent to large public beaches on both sides, and is quite heavenly. The resort itself consists of a hotel block and a number of chalets – quite a few on stilts over the water. We stayed in one of the “Garden chalets” on land, and the rooms were spacious and well laid out with double bed and a separate “day bed” near the large window. The bathroom took up nearly half of the large chalet and had separate rooms for shower and a small toilet.
The resort grounds are full of plants with numerous bananas, palm and other tropical vegetation in abundance, which makes it feel like living in the garden. There are two swimming pools - one for adults only and one that allows children (of all ages!). There is also a small animal area with rabbits, turtles, numerous birds and chickens – which sometimes escape and visit you at breakfast! One of the stranger inhabitants are the peafowl which are free to roam the resort and are very friendly and curious – we had a strange encounter one morning when drawing the curtains and had a peacock staring in through the window. That’s never happened to us before!
The resort food was truly excellent, and the variety at breakfast was huge. Evening meals were also good, but the Crow’s Nest restaurant appears to be closed until the end of February – it’s a lovely place when it is available, though, and during the low season the same food is served in the room below. Activities during the week include bread baking, Roti Canai and pizza making – fun for kids and adults alike!
The resort staff are all very friendly and eager to help, which just goes to make the stay even more enjotable. To cap it all, the sun sets out to the sea (over Sumatra) and are occasionally of the kind you dream about – don’t forget your camera!

Great hotel with nice view
9.3
Great hotel with a nice arrangement. Located above the at the beach of Port Dickson makes my time greatly occupied. With a lot of shops, cinemas and restaurant, it is a great place to stay with family.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nice view can be seen even from your bed. With water chalet facing the sea, you can really enjoy the romantic sunset on the with your sweetheart.
