Overall well maintained resort but room is old.

Poor service at restaurant at level two. Got six dishes out of seven wrong after 45 mins wait. Compensated us with a complementary dish and drinks. But seriously, the food is not even worth trying.

Great environment but poor value for money.

I find Avillion a very beautiful hotel that built along the open sea. Its beatiful and natural environment make it very unique. As its location is very close to KL, it's a good choice for a short weekend holiday. However the price is not very value for money. I have to book the room with breakfast included but the food they served for breakfast is not value for money at all. The worst thing is you have to queue up for long time to get a seat, and the staff there were not very friendly(I must say this has to do with the management, there is nothing much the staff can do if the management do not improve the way they manage the restaurant. Since all guest have to eat at this restaurant, how come they don't have enough seat or a better arrangement for them).
Restaurant Tip:
You may drive some distance away from the hotel to get some nice local food with reasonable price.

Room was not that clean . Beach is dirty , should make nicer beach for customer. breakfast not so great . The Spa is nice but not all customer can go join which is not that fair . The card system was bad because once u go out of the room all electricity will be off including the refrigerator. So was is the point having a refrigerator ?

Nice resort for a relaxing getaway. The rooms, amenities and hotel grounds are well maintained. My favourite part about the hotel is the different sections and areas available to chill and hang out. Plenty of fun activities such as waterslide and animal feeding session for kids. Food and beach is satisfactory only. Will definitely visit this hotel again in the future.

I went there with my husband for nights for a short getaway. We booked the water chalet. Seeing is believing!! The room is spacious and has a huge bathroom. The shower is unique with an open rooftop.
Room comes with a big balcony and the best part is definitely the view. Breathless..!!
Staffs were friendly and helpful. We really enjoy our stay and would definitely come back again.
Restaurant Tip:
Go for local foods which can be found everywhere near the hotel

Disappointment on second visit

This was the second time I visited Avilion, however it was not as impressive as before. The staff was not really nice. They are not so friendly and I have to waited for long to check in. There was no politeness or courtesy. I feel very disappointed and upset with the service this time. It has ruined my entire trip which I came all the way from Thailand. I am not sure if the hotel have any standard at all and I strongly do not wish to experience this ever again. I am not sure if I would recommend or would visit here again, I might though but really can't give a firm answer.

Great for family with young kids as kids will just love the bird/animal farm and also the kids pool. Avi Spa is great as well awesome sea views. Would highly recommend for chilling holidays.

The hotel service fine. The room condition is great especially the open air concept of bath room. The beach is clean And will prefer went there on weekday. Is a relax place . The swimming pool is clean. Will go again once got free time.

The rooms were overpriced and we were very disappointed with the location. Although we booked waterfront rooms, we could not see the sea. Only a little water around the rooms which receded in the morning.
