Nice beaches but room has old furnitures
Responsive house keeping...
4.7
Upon check in- around 4pm...our room still not ready & being cleaned up! Have to wait & have to ask the hotel employees to clear up the housekeeping trollies in front of our room... But then, they stationed the 'not so nice looking trollies' in front of the elevator which is only about less than 50 metres away from our room!!
We are given a unit that has no remote ctl for its TV, only one access card, only two towels available for a- three occupants bedroom!(but thank you to the house keeping unit-very responsive and send us extra towels afterwards..)
Food and service very poor at its cafe/coffee house. Not worth paying RM38 per head for the buffet dinner, though... Quite dissappointed with the food served & service...

Great hotel with spacious pool facilities
big pool and turtle sanctuary
8.3
Stay with my 4 kids, loved it as they enjoyed being in the pool all day.
Beside that, there is turtle sanctuary where the kids can learn about the turtle.
A bit far from PD town, but there is thailand restaurant serving good food.

Good condition and nice view
the big fish so attactive
7.7
the staff at this hotel made our stay the most wonderful experience. friendly, warm and helpful without the staff politeness and efficiency that some hotels have. the rooms are clean, bright and a good size, breakfast has something for all tastes, the hotel has pool and near to the beach. overall this hotel is great value for money. i would stay at this hotel again.

Beach Resort with small beach Playing Area
4
Location quite ok but the beach area to play with sand & swimming is so small. There was no beach activities such as doughnut , banana boat or jet ski as per advertising. No waterpark. Just small swimming pools with minimal decoration for kids. Overall, this place is not fun enough for family stay. Need to improve further.

Spacious yet limited in-room facilities
5.3
The stay was ok.. However traveling with small kids and for them to walk from the apartment to the pool and recreational area is quite far. Lacking of securities features as well..
Breakfast was good though.. Many choices to pick from..
Overall the stay was consider average and there are still plenty rooms for improvements.

Worst stay ever - we checked out early
The food - once we received what we ordered - was not bad
3.7
We went to Glory Beach Resort for a quick holiday away from KL, but left and came home after the first day. The room - after reading all the reviews, we weren't expecting much, and that's what we got. Think 1 star. Very basic. The beds were uncomfortable and the queen bed sagged in the middle with strange lumps in the mattress. The pillows were lumps of foam rubber. The toilet in the master bedroom leaked so we had to shut the water off. The refrigerator was old and rusty. And the third bedroom had no air con, only a ceiling fan so loud that nobody could sleep in there. The beach - we went to this hotel because it was on the beach. There IS a narrow strip of beach, but there are houses built on the water to the left and a pier with some industrial factory to the left - I think an oil refinery. Oil tankers just offshore, and concrete pilings in the water. No way you could swim there. The pool - crowded with people in street clothes. Women and girls swam in full head to toe clothes, from their headscarves to their track suits. Men swam in shorts and shirts. We were stared at, and felt extremely uncomfortable. We couldn't even go in the water, which was murky and looked dirty. it also smelled really bad in some areas, and there were dirty diapers left on a table by the pool. The food - we ordered dinner at the restaurant, a burger, a pizza, and a chef salad. The menu said the pizza had cheese, olive oil, and sauce. It arrived covered with prawns and calamari. Many people like that, but it isn't what we ordered, and the kids wouldn't eat it. I ordered a chef salad, which the menu said had chicken, tuna, cheese, and egg. I received a plate with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, a single boiled egg and a few narrow strips of cheese. No chicken, no tuna. I had to send it back. The fries that came with the burger were good, but clearly cooked in the same oil as the fish. Watch out if you have food allergies!
I have never left a hotel early until now. Don't do it!
