pd is kinda of laid back. not much you can do around pd town. but being in grand lexis with our own in-room pool, we spent most of our time in the room and swim / soaking in the pool.
if only de water is warmer, it will be very nice.
the internet connection is very bad. i'm not even able to open up the yahoo page. i am not able to connect to any page; not even facebook.
everything is chargeable. if only they are flexible on some request, it will definitely make us smile. i was asking for extras of the shampoo and soap, but they said they do not provide extras and if i need i will need to call front desk and request at a charge.
breakfast is good.
they should be able to provide currency change. we were desperate with no cash, and being a public holiday all the moneychangers in town was closed. we are not able to enjoy any of the facilities.

Fantastic hotel with great service

We had a wonderful time here. We stayed in the premium water chalet. The room is big and spacious for the 4 of us. The service rendered by the hotel was fantastic. The view from the water chalet was breathtaking and we were able to watch the sunset.
Restaurant Tip:
There were many places to eat about 5 mins drive from the hotel. Wonderful and cheap local food.

spacious room with 2 kings size bed and the private pool is a plus point!

its a great place for relaxation. Family of 4 pax can stay comfortably in one room with the 2 king size beds and we have lots of privacy with the private pool too.

We were there on CNY eve. Though the hotel was then full, chk in was a bliss. Friendly hotel staffs. My kids enjoyed the stay. The room is spacious with 2 king sized beds. My children 5&8 as well as my hb & I enjoyed the comfort of the room. Unlike other hotel tt we usually need 2 connecting rooms or family room. The room at grand Lexis won our hearts. We didn't pay any extra for another room.
Food is easily available within the hotel vicinity. We thought would be difficult to find food. Surprisingly, many restaurants were opened.

this is our second time in grand lexis and we tried the garden area. First visit we stay in water chalet. Both stay was superb. The room with excellence design and of course the famous indoor pool. Though it was during CNY, with many people, the service still excellence. Highly recommended especially if your kids loves pool so much!

I think that the pool in the room is a great idea but without a pool heater and Jacuzzi then it is pointless. The room was small due to the pool and the price was not worth it if you take into account the size of the room. The distance of the rooms to the main building was too far. Overall my stay was not enjoyable as the beach location was very dirty and had strong smell.
