i booked a regular seaview room but when arrive the front office staff called me by my name(maybe because no expecting too many customers at this time and got agoda reservation in hand)and upgrade me to a deluxe seaview room..the staff was also very helpfull on some of my requests.
The hotel is new but looks that the construction and material used were not really up to standart(painting in the room,the door paint looks not well done as well)this hotel might gone old very fast.BED/mattress were of good quality.Room convenient only the lighting system a bit strange,you couldnt switch off light directly from the bed? also a too big airconditionning split too compare to the size of the room,so a bit noizy..nice flat screen tv, and some amenities in the bathroom +safe+iron+hairdryer.my room came with a free breakfast,i must say that the breakfast buffet was clean good and nice and also very good "croissant" like in france.
Travel tip:
i choose this hotel as it is located at the best location in pd for swimming(few small clean beaches ). the hotel being on the cliff you have a nice clear view;close to others attraction like "ostreich park"+

Lovely location and new
the hotel located within Baitul Hilal

this is my first time at the hotel, everything as I expected for. Nevertheless, the room is neat and nice, decor is simple but interesting. Love the photos located along the corridor at every floor. The hotel design take take cue from astronomy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Beach -beach-beach though not as good as East Coast of Malaysia

a quiet hotel with great view

i stayed at this hotel due to delays in my schedule. as the changes to the schedule occurred at last minute, this was the only hotel available. the hotel is newly opened. the condition of the rooms and the building is excellent. all rooms are equipped with lcd tv.
the hotel is above the beach. one has to use a set
of stairs to go to the beach. the hotel is of a very islamic concept. there was piped in islamic prayers and music in public areas. the hotel is very family friendly and had very helpful staff as well. although the hotel is in a secluded location, the hotel staff are able to arrange for taxi to bring the guests into town. one has to inform the front desk early.
