Nice room, nice sea view (with extra charge), secluded Inaccessible, must drive to get around, expensive hotel cabs The room was nice enough, but only after we upgraded to a seaview, which cost us 150RM more per night. There are a few restaurants just outside of the hotel near the main road but its about a 10 to 15-min walk. Don't take the hotel limo to the Sea View Seafood Restaurant. The ones outside are just as nice and much cheaper. All in all, a positive experience, save the walking out to the main road for food. And hardly any shopping in the area.
Restaurant Tip : Take a slow walk at evening time out to the main road and try the 15 & 15 seafood restaurant (it's basically a coffeeshop-type place). Not half bad and quite cheap.

We like the room with two beds especially the bed which have the sea view. We also enjoyed watching movie in the mini cinema. swiming pool and other facilities are not exactly link to the hotel... We had a wonderful stay in this hotel because it has nice sea view. The room is very comfortable with all the facilities. We like the breakfast that provided by the hotel too, it has variety choices and the service of the staff are good too.
Restaurant Tip : Sea View seafood restaurant.

overall the quality of the hotel is ok
i would say the cleanliness of the chalet is well maintained, as water chalets may attract sea flies and other insects but somehow i did not find out this specific problem inside the LEGEND. location is not that good, far from the beach also.
food quality is bad, especially breakfast buffet. i think somewhat worth the money for this kind of chalet since there are only 2 hotel providing this kind of construction.

easy access from kuala lumpur It's near from KL. Nearby seaview seafood rest. very tasteful. Room is very good and large. But no beach. That is sorry for my kids who love it very much. So I transferred to another resort next to the beach and they enjoyed crab catching. Anyway good room with reasonable price.

Extreme Privacy, very nice for a romantic getaway, the hotel staff are he;pful and friendly if you get a chalet on the side viewing the ocean teh nyou are lucky, but if not then you are viewing your neigbour.
Also absolutley nothing to do around the hotel I would recommend this hotel for someone who wants a romantic getaway and i advice that this stay should not by any means exceed a night or two or you will really get quiet bored.
Also it would be better if you have a car as cabs are quite overpriced from the hotel. There are a few nice beaches around you can visit some but always stay away from weekends, it gets really crowded with malaysians.
As for pricing i believe its a bit overpriced but overall its a bit unique so it might be worth a try

The problem is not with the hotel itself but the main thing is the locvation. I wouldnt go there again, the place is not worth the money i paid, its quite far from anything around you, taxis are over priced that is if you can find one and they will charge you like 150 or more for a mere 20MYR(by meter) trip, the beach over there is not attractive and the hotel is not as shown on the website.. i do not recommend it for any kind of romantic getaway at all

The room is fabulous! The breakfast served was great and varies from local and western cuisine.The view from the Tower Seaview Room was great!! I fell in love with this hotel at the first sight! The helpdesk was not smiley enough when greeting us (maybe she was tired). Nevertheless, everything else tops it up. ;) This hotel is very pleasant either for family/honeymoon stay. I recommended this hotel to friends even when I just stepped into the room. The room was well kept and clean. The breakfast served was great. We only stayed here one night because the hotel was fully booked for the weekend. I was greatly disappointed when I found out that I could not extend my stay there. I will absolutely stay at this hotel when I visit Port Dickson again also recommend it to friends coming to Port Dickson.

The room was the beauty. Spacing's fine. Poor facilities: small pool, broken table tennis batts. And environment is just...uggh..dark dirty sea water, construction next door on the go, worst of all, NO Sandy Beach (which is not mentioned in the intro). Though the hotel's material used is up to 4 stars standard, but what's the point staying at 4 star hotel by the seaside while there isn't a sandy beach? The swimming pool is even smaller than our apartment's and it's in a rectangular shape which i think is a bit "too simple" in design. And the seawater there is like "black sea" to me.
Visit again? Why not, if it is free.

bad location far from everything I do not recommend this hotel as it is not on a nice beach as is not as shown in the website, the hotel is quite far from everything cant veen get easy food, i wouldnt go their at all, the laguna beach was under construstion and wasnt able to see a nice beach for that period. Big Rooms, two beds, family entertainment, free movies. Signboard to the hotel from the main road is not clear, ending up almost an hour to search the hotel. The rooms are big and comes with a Queen size and a king size bed. Great toilet setup, nice bathtub facing with windows facing the living room. Whole lots of entertainment for families young and old. Free movies for families to enjoy. Rates for Karaoke are reasonable. Looking forward to their new Water Chalets with indoor swimming pool.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotels provides most of the activities that a family could enjoy.

Great Hotel with an excellent view of the sea from our room. Room was very nice and clean. Pool was also very clean. Food was okay, not great. The beach is terrible and dirty (not a private beach). Good distance from PD town, so you need a taxi to get there (and they will not go by meter). Nice hotel, okay location. If we went back to PD, we would definitely stay there again.

New Hotel, clean and comfy I stayed one night in this hotel and totally satisfied with the service and environment. However, it hasn't got any shuttle to the city and we have to find our own way or by taxi. It would be great if they provide more transportation.
Restaurant Tip : I saw there is a seafood restaurant near the hotel and it looks nice, but we hadn't got enough time to go there, maybe worth a try

Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Some excellent staff. Limited catering, poor food, limited facilities, no internet in rooms. Pool small and sun loungers all broken. Some very poor staff. The hotel is modern with nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Other facilities are very limited, with only one small restaurant and a small pool which can get very crowded. It caters for Chinese tour parties, so be prepared for smoking in the restaurant and pool. Don't expect requests for queuing to be followed or enforced. There are no other good restaurants or activities within walking distance.
