Since the hotel is preferable by govt function/seminar, try to avoid room nxt to the child pool.
On the other hand, for ggod wifi it is preferable close to coffe house

Just nice for us

I am a returned guests so nothing much to comment. We still love this place because of the location that we think it is convinient to us.
As I mentioned on the last review, they had spacious room and great location and this time I would like to add on some great things to it.
Parking: They have a lot of parking bay which we no need to worry about parking problem as other hotels.
Reception staff: love to talk to them as they are so polite and talk softly and of course with a big smile on their face always.
The only bad part is the hotel was a little bit rundown so some upgrade work should be given.

Room with dusty,noisy,no hair dryer eventhoug in the list have this item.
Still using old type tv, no wi fi, entrance wooden door hard to open,no slipper supply,no power supply to referigerator(icebox). Poor breakfast ! The half boil egg with shit! no sugar,litter choice!
When I check out no bill or payment voucher ! No body will say "good morning! Good evening! or good night!". I think budget hotel better then this hotel!

Hotel is nice, good location, room was big. Pools are excellent. Price is good. Nothing that I wanted more or less.
Shopping Tip:
Drive to Tanjung Dawai for good bargain of fish products (salted fish, keropok and dried prawn).

Great location but poor services hotel staffs
Best part of this hotel is the location is just situated center of the Sg Petani

First of all, the hotel staff is not friendly enough. However, this hotel is located just center of the heart of Sg Petani. Additional, the room is spacious and comfy enough to rest at night. Amanpura Hotel provides variety of choices for the breakfast if compare to other hotel in the same range of price.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel is providing some relaxation sports such as table tennis, swimming pool and limited choices of gymnasium kits.

Stayed in the new wing previously (which was good)but got the old wing this time around. The rooms need attention, toilets dirty. Bottom of toilet door broken shabbily fixed with zinc plate.
Will insist on the new wing next time around.
