Disappointed with the Irresponsible Management

I was disappointed with the hotel management as no apartment was reserved for me despite i had made payment two months earlier. Due to peak season, I went to the resort to confirm for our reservation (although i had paid everything)earlier in the morning once we reached Sungai Petani. The resort management was confirmed with our reservation and told us come back for check in after 3pm. However, it was so disappointed as we realized that management was not allocated any apartment for us although we had paid for everything and we came for earlier confirmation. Thanks God, our problem was resolved after my parents and kids with baby wait for at least 2 hours for the management to allocate us. We were told that the rooms were not tidy up yet when we reached the hotel rooms. Thus, we need to wait for an hour again. The rooms that we allocated were old with poor cleanliness. The water heater and toilet bowl were spoil (i.e. no hot water and cannot flush) while the air-cond was not function properly. We were definitely not to go for this resort again.

Everything was fine, just lack of staff friendliness. I'm facing problem upon check in. When we arrived about 4:45pm, front desk staff not even greets us and register us but just told us room wasn't ready. When we received the key, no informations provided such as where is room location, where is ABF place and etc.
Besides, Website advertised room with ABF for 5 pax, however, we were told that ABF for 4 pax only after received room key. The most ridiculous is the front desk staff is aware the mistake, but refuse took the responsible.
Anyhow, thanks to Manager on duty, eventually he is kind enough to honor the booking.
My family member went to Sky Residence but found out 1 of the room that on ground floor have renovation just right in front of my room. Front Desk should inform us in advance. The noise and dusk is all around that areas. With no choice, everyone is so tired after long journey then just accept it.
Other than above, my family member is fine with their stay.

Lovely hotel and great lacation

I did not know there is a lovely hotel at Sungai petsni where I can leave my family while I'm out to work. They stayed in the rooms until noon and went out to theme/water park that kids said wonderful and asked to come again during school holidays. My wife likes the place too.

Overall we enjoy our stay at Sky Residence and didn't mind recommending this apartment to others. Locations is good not far from city center and yet very peaceful.
We had the same breakfast for the two days we are there, a change of menu would be nice, especially for guest who stay for than two nights.
There is no wifi available in the apartment and that is really disappointing when the tv channel is very limited and the signal is not clear.
Lack of mirror in bedroom, is also another negative point for this place.

Sky residence is good but only thing is the ac in the living room was leaking. We woke up to a puddle of water. Otherwise it is all good and clean. The breakfast is nothing to shout about.
Restaurant Tip:
Great Japanese restaurant in a nearby mall and has starbucks too.

Brand new service apartment in a golf resort

I would highly recommend this apartment although a bigger family may require a 3 bedroom unit instead. The apartment is nicely furnished and has a good view of the golf course as well as surrounding areas.
Breakfast was pretty simple, perhaps they should increase the variety a bit more. I'd also recommend bringing your own towel as the one provided doesn't soak up water very well.
Apart from that though it was an enjoyable visit and I would definitely stay again if I ever need to drop by Sg Petani.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to the Carnivall theme park. Shopping malls isn't too far away if you're driving.
