It was a budget hotel. However, due to I am going through Agoda, they charged us RM 10 more. If you wish to stay in the hotel, get the number and call them directly. Not worth paying RM 10 more because RM 10 allows you to upgrade to deluxe room already.

Overall is very nice. easy to find the location after exist the Highway Tol. Plenty of the carpark and just next to petrol station if you are travel by car. just a 10 minute to the town center of Taiping. Nearby the common 24hrs fastfood if you are hungry during midnight.The bed is nice, air conditioning are good, shower is perfect.
But something need to highlight is the desk is dusty and the window/mirror is full of thumbprint.
But is still a high recommended for this hotel for my family and friend

I love the hotel's room which is quite spacious for a family of five. Clean beds and toilet.The only thing that i dont like about the hotel is the receptionist. The indian lady who served me wasnt that welcoming.Hotel is worth the price but service wise , I think they should do somehing about it.

Clean and Spacious Room
The room is very Spacious and clean. Free Wifi and aircon runs well all nite only the pillow is too soft otherwise no complain.

The Potato Hotel is accessible easily from the highway via Changkat Jering exit.
Check-in was abreeze and hotel room was ready and clean. They provide an empty jar and glass. You need to take water from the water dispenser at the receptionist floor if you need it. No mineral water provide so it is better for you to bring your own incase you are given higher floor as I didnt see any lift there.
I wouldnt mind to stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taiping Lake Garden is a must visit. You will find peace there. Taiping is where you can find Malaysia many first. First Railway Station, First Prison, First Post Office. And dont forget the First Galleria. You will learn more here beside the first museum in Malaya. A lot of the building were colonial building and you will be amazed on the architectural work way back to 1879.
Oh do try the famous dessert, Chendol Ansari. I cant remember where is the location exactly, but you can always ask the local as its very famous.
