It was excellent. Loved it. The tours were awesome. Staff was friendly. Only I landed in KL at 7.30 PM and took a taxi to Tamen Negara. Reached T Negara at 2.00 AM in middle of night to other side of the river. Did not know that there would be no boat till 7.00 AM in morning. Travelers should be advised to reach before 11 PM. No one in cus support of hotelpicks phone in night time

A cozy experience in the heart of Taman Negara

By placing itself literally in the Taman Negara rain forest, there's no better way to experience the park. The restaurant is good, staff are friendly and the sights and sounds couldn't be better. It's pricey but worth it if the budget's not tight.

We stayed in the family chalet with our two young boys. The chalet was comfortable and clean. We had no issues with mosquitos. It was the perfect location from which to explore the park. The food at the restaurant was ok. They have a child menu and the restaurant staff was very friendly with the kids.

Spacious but a bit outdate chalets within NP

Large resort with chalets located along Tembeling river. We stayed in (Family) which is quite close to the reception, restaurant and mini bar. It was spacious with big bathroom and great balcony. Chalets are nice, but a bit outdated and pricy. Nice breakfast with international and local selection.
They were renewing several chalets next to reception, but construction was not disturbing.
During our stay there were 2 big groups of students which caused queues at breakfast and when crossing the river.
WiFi is available near the reception, but the connection was working about 50% of time.
For activities shop around to get better price.

We had a pleasant stay at the Mutiara Taman Negara Hotel, mostly because of the location of the hotel. Exploring the Taman Negara jungle with small (6 and 8 years old) children is not really possible - but now we got at least a bit of an impression of the jungle. The location of the hotel is great for the canopy walk and to take a longboat to explore the surroundings.
We were not very happy with the buffet, too much Western cuisine, but the a la carte menu was quite okay.
The room was clean and the children enjoyed sleeping in the bunk bed. That bed is not suitable for very small children, because it dit not have a safety bar on the site, sot they can easily fell off the bed. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked fine and looked rather new. The room itself was a bit old.
