nice architecture
nice staff
do not go in December - monsoons - no ferries run to the islands between Oct=Mar.
You are very isolated - not cheap to get a taxi back into town which is 40 minutes away
Hotel food is awful

- Resort style and architecture.
- Chalets + architecture.
- Very clean.
- Location + the big and very nice park, which connects to the resort.
- Great dinner.
- Breakfast could be improved.
We enjoyed our stay at the Aryani Resort Terengganu from the very first minute. It was really perfect and so relaxing. The architecture of the resort + chalets are really great and so different from any other place. The density of rooms and chalets is probably the lowest I've ever seen in a hotel. It is a perfect location for people who want to stay at a quiet location and relax. We will definitely come again!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take time and walk through the park, it is so nice and relaxing. Visit Marine Park at Redang Island.

Service, ambience, Claypot meal, bed, beautiful beach, chalet, outdoor bath, pool gazebos, architecture.
Poor wine list, limited English by some staff.
For all the above reasons, we extended our stay by 2 nights. Serves as gateway to the islands so great location. Islands exquisite.Staff very accomodating, nothing too much trouble. A 5 star bargain and small enough to be intimate. As Terrenganu is a dry state, alcohol difficult toaccess. Most guests would like a more extensive wine list.

Lovely quiet and beautiful surroundings. Each day was in the room brought sweets (small snack or fruit basket). Hotel was little lost glory (borderline case).
