quiet , clean room and good service
computer did not work, food are very poor and expensive, room need to be clean better
I would try to go back to this villa spa. if they will offer better food for lunch and dinner, the price are too expensive for what it's offer. coffee were not taste too good. beer are too expensive.
Restaurant Tip : need to be change the menu seasonal and price 25% lower for what it is. the music should be always keep it on. clean up the room better

The chalets are big, quite comfortable.
The lake is huge and if you want, there are quite a number of things you could do.
It's very humid, could be because it's in a valley. I was perspiring even though I was just standing still.
The rooms could do with a little cleaning - there were cobwebs on the ceiling.
This was my first time at Lake Kenyir although I have heard about it some time ago. The trip from Kuantan to Lake Kenyir (Tasik Kenir in Malay) was quite an easy drive, not many cars on this stretch of the road.
The hotel is a chalet-style resort and the reception area is quite impressive as you look out into the huge lake. When we were there, it was not the peak season so there weren't too many guests around and it was rather quiet.
The food in the hotel (no where else to go for food unless you want to drive out) is quite good and not expensive. You have the usual Malaysian food and European cuisine - more of a cafe-type food, don't expect fine dining.
We went for a boat ride around a section of the lake to see the trees in the water.
Don't go walking in the evening, there are lots of mosquitoes and it is very humid.
Nightlife Tip : There's no nightlife here except for a karaoke lounge.

Great view of Lake Kenyir, a place to rest and relax. Boat cruise only starts at 10am. Welcome drink was a good start, especially after a long drive to resort.
Internet not working, I lost connections to the world ! Average buffet BF, would not pay if not included in package. Staff at front desk not fluent in english, TV reception is bad.
A good place to relax and great view of the lake. Spa is good but only two staff working that day so have to wait for the next day.
Generally buffet BF is graded acceptable as the porridge was overcooked to point of burnt. Told the staff but they seemed unable to understand (poor english communication skill). Dinner is expensive, decided to drive to nearest town (there are street lights but advisable not to drive alone).
Restaurant Tip : Best to travel with friends there, and drive out in evening to explore nearest town - Kuala Berang (abt 36km away). If travel alone (couple), skip dinner at resort resturant (if you can).
