Hotelroom to expensive, prices way to high according to expected standard. The rooms missed the little extra to earn to be called deluxe suite. Bathroom old and worn down. What about giving fresh fruit free on the rooms by arrival - or every day? Excellent food, nice and smiling staff giving good service. SPA was good, pedicure could have been better. Even with these comments we had a nice and pleasant stay. One swimming pool was out of order, and did not look clean.
The food
Nice service and beautiful smiles :-)
Missed the little extra to call it deluxe - room.
Not to well maintained both in and outside.
Beach in front of hotel, not very good, lots of stones and some dirt.
nice place, needs better service

Family of 4 stayed for 1 week. The area surrounding the resort was very nice and clean. The food was very good. The pool and beach areas were terrific. The only negative comment would have to be that the service was at times too inattentive to dinner order and such.
nice facilities
restaurant staff confused at times and lost orders

If you go to Tioman, do not stay anywhere else, if you are used to our Western standards.
Maybe that's because of this quasi monopoly, they do not put enough attention to please the customer.
For boaters

The hotel is great if you use your own boat to go to Tioman, it has a (irregular) shuttle service to the Marina. The lay-out and facilities of the resort are nice. Pools are nice. Restaurants are good. Rooms are basic but everything you need is there and the quality of the beds is very good. Good place for families, but you will have to like reading and those kind of things as Tioman is a small Island and other places are only accesible by boat. Offcourse the snorkeling and diving in the area is very good and a nice way to spent some time.
Good place for a family with children to relax.
Excellent startpoint for divers and snorkelers.
- Shopping Tip : Tioman is tax free, so tobacco, perfumes and drinks at prices comparable to tax free shops at airports.
Quite cozy.

It´s the best hotel on the whole island - that´s not saying much. Overall a good hotel with some not likeable features. It´s just too boring. There´s hardly anything to do after 10 p.m. They should build a lounge/bar at the beach that played somewhat modern music instead of the karaoke. There should also be a more varied food menu and plenty more opportunities to eat at the beach. The front desk staff working day shift should change careers. The night staff and some of the restaurant staff were great on the other hand. A 200 meter strip located just outside half of the chalets is unused! No beach chairs or umbrellas to be seen. The golf course is also poorly maintained.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don´t go on the glass bottom rides. But do snorkle. Some sites are just plain beautiful.
Its perfect for families with small children

The hotel is perfect for entertaining families with small children. The variety of food amongst all restaurants is extensive. Golf course is absolutely beautiful. Service is fast and corteous. Easy transfer to/from airport. Nearby snorkeling sites.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Its easier to book snorkeling trips individually instead of doing the group boat snorkeling, mainly because you have your own schedule and cost does not vary much

Very good service.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When you are with more than three persons it is worth chartering your own boat for a day and explore the island on your own pace.
