Location, Beach, Dive Shop, House Reef, Accommodation, Cleanliness, Baby Food on the Kids Menu We just got back from an amazing Maldives holiday! We loved Bandos Island. The resort was perfect for our group with young children as they are super baby/child friendly. There was even baby food on the kid's menu which was terrific when our jar supply was low. The beach is terrific and the snorkeling on the house reef is lovely. Bandos is a 10 min boat trip from the airport so very convenient. Lots of activities going on at the resort but absolutely no pressure to sign up for anything. The dive shop was professional and well organized. Our only complaint was that the restaurant service was not that great with the exception of a couple friendly waiters. However, housekeeping staff was great and the accommodations (including baby cots) were perfect. Note that there is a small room tax for any additional children/babies in the room. Also, make sure you check over your bill as the info from the dive shop was not correct on our or our friend's bill. Go to Bandos especially if you are taking kids!
Restaurant Tip : Happy hour (5:30-6:30 pm) means that drinks are 25% off at the Sundowner. Perfect spot and time for enjoying sunset. The food menu at the Seabreeze Cafe, however, is much better! Stick with the Indian and Maldivian specialties as they are the best!

really big rooms, quiet and peaceful expensive to drink especuialyl alchole, old style if you want cheap and maldives this is the place. good for the quiet get away and close enough for day trips to male and other islands

Nice place, excellent rooms, friendly atmosphere and staff. Really worth visiting Some of the things in life or not for free. I had a brief stay, but really liked the resort. The rooms are nicely equipped, and the beaches are clean and nice.

everything was good.... nice sand beach... nice beach villas... great foood!! Brilliant! very very expensive... a coke would cost 4 usd!! and no room service in the rooms... i think they should serve food in the room!! Because we are on holiday we should not be forced to walk all the way to restaurants for foood!! Serve in the room plz! I think this resort is great.. but very expensive no doubt!! Helpful staff!! food was great! Pleasant stay!!
Shopping Tip : I think one should go to Male the capital city to shop cause u can bargain which you cannot do in ur resort and then u end up paying 3 times!!

I can only say good things about the Resort, all the staff were very kind and always smily! The food was really good, reasonable prices! The accommodation (garden villa) was more than we expected! Everything were very well cared for, especially the gardens! Bandos Island Resort is a very peaceful place. All the islands have natural coral reef, so the scenery is just gorgeous! When we arrived, there was a representative from the hotel waiting for us and he arranged everything for our transport from the airport to the island (even our luggage!) The staff were amazing, really kind with everybody. The food was also good with reasonable prices. The activities and sports offered are very thrilling!! I don't have any complaints about the hotel. It's a paradise for those who like diving and snorkeling!
Restaurant Tip : The Sundowners Restaurant at 5:30PM - you can see an amazing sunset while you enjoy a drink!

Beautiful sea! Bright and friendly staff. Receptionist particular, cleaning staff, the Japanese staff. In some restaurants, that there was a vague Suttafu.困Rimashita tired to eat away. We fish a lot. Calm sea. I enjoyed snorkeling with the sea in children. It is not long enough to even scuba diving.
Nightlife Tip : There are also weekend events for children.

A good house reef. Very close to the drop off from the beach. (6-year-old child行KEMASHITA easily) Set toothpaste, not a shave. Shampoo, conditioner but stiff hair. April 2009, Maldives was the first time was more than expected. Until now I have the color and snorkeling in the islands was not good enough比BE物.
