great water views1 Great beaches; best of all the coral in front allowed snorkleing easy. Transportaiton to Male a major probelem. The private boats are excessively costly and the hotel doesnot run them often. A good resort for the money compared to all other similar costly resorts in Maldives. The staff was friendly, except the guys operating the boat. The food was great and perhaps too much. The European tourists (most of them fatty) seem to like the tons of dissert served with every meal! The resort is a beautiful and relaxing place surrounded by placid waters and great corals for snorkeling. A great experience!
Travel tip : get to the water from the left side of the pier for quick entry to the coral area.

The best feature was the boat trip in and the beautiful beaches. The cons were the services like the food, accomodation and quality of service. Embudu Village is a beautiful place to stay at because of the islands and the beautiful fish either when you dive or go snorkelling. If you just want to go for the beach and dont mind about the pluses in the hotel then this is a great choice but if you are looking for scenery plus quality services I would look elsewhere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you snorkel I think the best place is the exact place that you come in when you arrived. Swim with the sharks!
