Situated in the peaceful surroundings of Nalaguraidhoo Island, this stunning resort is one of the most popular in the Maldives. The resort is easily accessed by seaplane which takes about 35 minutes from the main Male Airport and gives guests a chance to see firsthand the amazing array of Islands in the area. The resort features deluxe, super deluxe and over water bungalows, as well as the amazing Presidential Suite that can accommodate families or large groups of friends. Each room is beautifully designed and offers air-conditioning, television with satellite channels and a balcony area to relax and enjoy the marvelous setting. The Sun Island Resort houses several top class restaurants including Sun Star, which specializes in fresh seafood and a wonderful Italian restaurant which is perfectly located on the Jetty and makes an ideal spot for newlyweds or couples celebrating their wedding anniversary.

The beach, the cycle paths, the sea... heaven.

Out of bed, out of the door, on the beach. Say no more!

Hotel Feature Tip : You can rent bikes for children & adults and it's safe and wonderful to just let the children go.

It was great and had beautiful beaches, and it was very clean in the whole hotel area. The squash field were used a lot, and also the gym. They had all the things you need to do a good workout. Many different activities.

You had to pay for absolutely everything. Even the jacuzzi. We sent the hotel 2-3 emails before we arrived, but we did not receive any answer.
