We enjoyed the waterbungalow.
We were not happy with the treatment off the staff. Reception doesn't look up, no hearly welcome, boatpeople didn't mind sick guests.
The all inclusive formula excluded a lot, also a disapointment.
Restaurant Tip:
Don't go to early because it is so busy then.

Nice place but generally bad service

Arrived at Male airport n waited 1 hour for a few other travelers from other airlines but expected. 45 min boat ride to hotel n checked-in at reception. Cold staffs on duty with no smile at all. Great start! Walked to my water villa which turned out to be on the top floor of a double storey unit (No direct access to water. Access is from boardwalk instead). Room was nice but lacked many basic amenities like slippers, toothpaste. Also, the safe was dismantled n it was never fixed in 4 days that I was there despite calling reception 3 times.
Dinner spread was ok at restaurant but most waiters there need to be sacked n replaced. Arrogant fools with their heads up n no smile. They require more training before allowed to serve. Worst part is dumbazz rule on having fixed tables assigned to each room at the restaurant. I sat at a table which indicated my room number n halfway dining, one idiot said I was at the wrong table n moved me in the middle of eating, saying the previous person staying at my room had changed room or some crap n this is actually now an unallocated table but still I'm not allowed to sit there (just the normal area, not even the upper deck area). I noticed few couples n families also had to deal with BS like this n it spoiled the whole dining experience everytime we went to the restaurant for brekkie or dinner n had to see their same sh!tty faces.
Great comedy show on the first nite but empty beach party/disco on 2nd nite due to most being on the all-inclusive package. I spent my after dinner drinks at Nika bar which was quieter n had good service from a bartender there. He was Srilankan instead of Maldivian.
3.5 to 4 star resort with the worst service I have ever experienced anywhere. Return to Maldives? No. It is overrrated imo n caters towards Europeans. There are better beach places elsewhere. Return to Adaaran? Definitely not. Overall I give it 2 stars.

nice room with fantastic view

an excellent experience, we spent three days in water bungalow, though the room is a bit old, which was built in 1997, it didn't affect us to enjoy the gorgeous sea view, and the location is quite good, just 40 mins speedboat from airport, not too close nor too far.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

Airport waiting time was 1.5 hours before we could get into the speedboat to the island.
We booked water villa for 3 nights. The room is spacious and the sea view is awesomely great. Air conditioner is not cooling enough. But we were enjoying the natural sea breeze anyway.
We had the half boarded package. Breakfasts were average, nothing too excited to be mentioned. Dinners were above average. Only a few dishes were repeated over the 3 nights.
There are diving centre, spa & massage centre, watersports centre and some boat day trips. BUT all of them are being managed differently which means we could not get all information in just ONE desk, instead, we have to go one by one and ask. We find this quite inconvenience and wonder if all the resorts in Maldives practice this?
Overall staying experience was good and is definitely worth to recommend to others.

Good meals, fantastic water bungalows and very clean. Service is good, however staff is a bit bad at communication. The beach and resort itself is fantastic, great for honeymoons, relaxing vacations.

Fantastic stay. First time to the Maldives and this set the standard. We were upgraded when we arrived and the villa was fantastic. Crystal clear waters all around. Amenities were good. Menu was quite upscale for a half-board - wagyu, scallops, cod - though food tended to be either over and under seasoned. But, oh my, the views! the sea! the peace!

check-in was a bit frustrating as I had requested early check-in after a long flight. Eventually I got access to the room (a water bungalow) which was fine. Two single beds put together was a bit disappointing, as advertised as double bed.
This resort is a bit basic - for example no pool, but not bad value for money and they didnt charge me for the speed boat.

we stayed for 4 nights in the water banglows. it was an awesome place with excellent views. only problems was choice of vegetarian food, especially for indians.
