great
the welcome the outsde facilities with the room the food

the room on the beach with the lagune few yards away was paradisiac
it was very relaxing
staff very friendly
food very tempting (too tempting !)
may be the only problem was the lack of entertainement in the evening
after diner we would go back to the room at around 9.30 pm and the light outside was not bright enough to read so we were indoor very early
we only had 1 night with music and dance
our fishing experience was not very successful either
to go private was $400 for 3 hours which was excessive
so we went with the collective one
it was a waste of time
3 fish between 12 people!.....
were we in the wrong spot ?
too close to the coast ?
any way i would go back any day

Fantastic honeymoon experience!
In Ocean villa, quality fittings with a private pool, hammock, sun deck and a fantastic sea view from every corner!

We went to this hotel as our honeymoon trip and first time to maldives. The staff were very attentive, and were more than willing to help you. We carelessly left our camera stands in the seaplane, while we informed to the reception, they immediately made a quick report and arranged the lost item to be transferred to our room within the same day. It was very impressive with their excellent service!
The food in Azzuro is a LOT better than any other hotel restaurants that we had stayed before. From food decoration, pleasant servings, it is all tastefully designed and presented to us. The morning reakfast has a good wide spread from english to chines dishes, fresh coffee and fruit juices, 3 courses set lunch including roast beef and set dinner with choice of lamb rack! It is highly recommended to go for a full board plan as the alarcate prices can be more expensive. We didn't try the reef restaurant on the island. We did the night fishing and caught 2 fishes which the Chef then prepared for dinner for free. We even had a lobster meal which cost only USD75 that is absolutely delicious!
It was our first time to the Maldives and all & all it was a wonderful experience. We definitely recommend this hotel for honeymooners & couples.
Restaurant Tip:
Beware of the prices, but to be honest as its a set of islands you should really expect to pay more for imported beer, food & water etc. Do go for fullboard or half board plan.

Living in a Paradise
Beaches, blue sky and moonlight right in front and you can walk around with barefoot everywhere in the island

i would highly recommend this hotel to honeymooners and for the couples holiday. the beaches are clean, a nice blue sky as real as how we see it from the photos. we really enjoyed our stay in angsana, their quality fittings and the furniture, a nice & spacious jetpool would relax your body after a hot sun bath by the beach. clean beach and sandy ground at the bar and the restaurant. it is literally a paradise!

the italian restaurant in the ocean bunglow was a superb experience. also the open shower in the rooms. the restaurant was ok .. food rather basic, though drinks were great. the view and the sun rise was simply outstanding

First point, trip was very relaxing. Hotel service is also very good.
Room interior was excellent. Very clean hotel.
Good idea to carry some medication, for example antibiotic for diarrhea, most of the travelers fall into this, and the hotel does not keep this medication. I had to wait one day to get it from Male city.
Food was satisfactory, not excellent. It was not up to my expectation considering the amount you pay for food.

Nice Resort Great Value
Free house reef snorkeling everyday

the resort is on a small island with beautiful greens and white sand. the villa itself is spacious and nicely equipped with king bed, double basins and cd players etc. there were free house reef snorkeling everyday and safari snorkeling for $60/person. great value for snorkeling fans. service was good. the only problem was the buffet in main restaurant. as the seafood restaurant only opens 2 or 3 days a week for dinner, the buffet was the only choice left for most of our meals. not so great value for the quantity we could eat and the quality of the food. but, generally, a pleasant holiday.

Beautiful rooms but bad customer service

The stay was great, the rooms and surroundings were beautiful,but it was tainted by the bad front desk customer service. We requested a lot of information,like dive details and dive time, they said they would get back to us but never did. I had to keep calling them and they would say sorry, but no result.In the end i went straight to the dive center instead which was on another island.

everything was lovely at the hotel. the service was wonderful and the food is well prepared. the view is fantastic and amenities of the room is above average.

Make sure to ask the front desk for free dvd and free yoga class. They don't really notify you the services ahead of time.
