Situated at best location, easy transfer, rooms are amazing, food very less option, so prepare your mind accordingly is you are vegetarian. buffet stay need to improve there hospitality services. Overall had a wonderful experience.

i come to the maldives on a regular basis for business and i try to pop over to bandos if i can on each visit. it is easy to get to, no time wasted in long transfers. it has great staff and you can control how much you spend. it has everything from a choice of places to eat, spa, beaches etc etc. on this visit i went to the spa twice, fantastic!! i was upgraded to a jaccuzi room!

Overall stay was nice except wireless network at lobby cannot work for 2 days. DOlphine and night fishing tour was very nice but Male erry tour was not so interesting. Tour guide gave wrong information about the place. Limited food choice.
Travel tip:
Beaches near the Beach resort is nicr than the beach at the Standard/delux room.

Diving and snorkeling is the best on this island!

the best thing of this hotel is the house reef, you can enter the reef straight from the beach.
be aware that not every island has the house reef near the island!
the hotel is only 15 min by boot from male airport, very confiniund when you are traveling at night a specially with kids.
a great value of monye!
if you like many food, book fb. otherwise just book bb or hb.
diving and snorkeling is great and safe, also for the childeren. the dive instructors are good and great with childeren. safety above everything.
if you hesitate which hotel you need to go to with childeren in the maledives. don't look further, this hotel is it!

No time wasted in transfer from the airport and a great resort!

this is the second time i have stayed at bandos - the rooms are great - spacious and clean, well serviced. everything is charged to the room - so there is no need to worry about cash. the staff are very helpful and the resort is very flexible to accomadate special requests. i had to travel back to male for business and they were able to organise space for me on the staff transport.

my first trip to bandos - the sea was fantastic - snorkelling was easy - the dive school was brillent - i had only just passed my open water dive qualification and they made me feel very safe and relaxed during my dives with them. the happy hour was great and the food was fantastic. very memorable stay.

Generally, It was very cozy , nice place.
When I woke up and went outside everymorning,I could see peaceful blue-green emerald color of sea at the first .
Also little bird brought her chicks to ask me the snack what I am eating at noon. the staffs are nice.
Everyting was perfect. If you want to relax in the reasonable price, visit here. I will also recommend this place to my colleague.

Big room on lovely island

The room was very big, with separate sitting area and verandah out front. Nice-sized bathroom, good air-conditioning. Big, comfy bed.
The resort covers the small island, with various types of accommodation. All are very close to the beach, with spa, pool, tennis and gym facilites in the middle of the island. The resort is making a big effort with the landscaping in sandy soil, but this is not an immaculate resort like the more expensive ones.
There are places to lie on the beach all around the island, with deckchairs set up and rope-hammocks. The snorkelling is genuinely incredible, and very easily accessed from the beach.
The food in the several venues is a bit hit-and-miss; there are a few good curries about the island, but this is not really a foodie destination.
Sundowners Bar is built on decking leading out over the water, it is a stunning spot for an afternoon cocktail watching the sunset and the myriad sea life.
The one thing that lets Bandos down is that the service standards aren't great. It took over half an hour to check in, and service at the bars is slow. The staff are very friendly, but it's not quick. It's not hugely efficient, but it is a lovely place and I've loved my time there.
