my seventh stay at bandos - staff are great and the resort works very well. nothing seems to be too much trouble. the dive centre and team are great - reef dive is fantanstic and the night dive - did a few of the boat dives all great dives with very professional staff.
easy to transfer and if you want a relaxing holiday with a variety of things to do then bandos will work for you.
Hotel Feature Tip:
At the airport - buy a dongle with 100rf credit - Bandos have hiked the prices up of the broadband - 10us$ an hour!! so would be cheaper to use the mobile. However Internet is Free in one of thier units (the main bar and entertainments area) so if you are happy to be restricted to using internet in one place - no problem. Want it on the beach - in your room - have a think..

Good vibe, staff are great, always friendly & helpful. Snorkeling off the beach good with plenty of sharks as well as the usual abundance of fish etc. Evening music & entertainment generally good also. all up a relaxing place to enjoy a few days, recommend a visit to anyone considering it.

Great Resort - easy access to Male

I stay at Bandos on most business trips to Male - I find it easier to be productive when I am working "from home" and I am still able to gain access to Male for meetings and workshops. When you need a break from work a quick walk around the island and your energy is restored and back to high outputs. They are currently upgrading the island to Wifi in the rooms, I have been using a "dongle" so that will be even better when completed. Of course it has excellent facilities which make the weekends and evening a little more enjoyable than those you find on Male, SPA Centre, Dive Centre and so on

i come to the maldives on a regular basis for business and i try to pop over to bandos if i can on each visit. it is easy to get to, no time wasted in long transfers. it has great staff and you can control how much you spend. it has everything from a choice of places to eat, spa, beaches etc etc. on this visit i went to the spa twice, fantastic!! i was upgraded to a jaccuzi room!

this is the second time i have stayed at bandos - the rooms are great - spacious and clean, well serviced. everything is charged to the room - so there is no need to worry about cash. the staff are very helpful and the resort is very flexible to accomadate special requests. i had to travel back to male for business and they were able to organise space for me on the staff transport.

Great for snokling but lack of service mind

For the second day i wanted to upgrate room from deluxe to garden type but the reservation is not response again. Lastly when i checked out there are some problems for water that i didnot drink but they said. But the good things is location for snokling.

I wanted something close to Male and the Airport so that the transfer was easy and flexible. I am not sure you can get better than Bandos Island Resort.
I went in on a Breakfast only deal, the breakfast buffet had a wide selection and to be honest I only needed an evening meal.
The beach was just outside my door with perfect views, the staff friendly and the room was perfect.
There seemed to be alot of options if you wanted to be busy, diving, fishing, trips out - I didn't do any of these things as I just wanted a peaceful relaxing break - which is what I got. Great value, great location.
Hotel Feature Tip:
You don't pay for anything during your stay, you sign for everything and then pay at the end - I went armed with US$ cash knowing how much my budget was and realised how easy it would be to go over your budget. Internet Access is limited on the island and cost 2us$ for 60minutes in a 24hour period.

There was a lot to do and diffrent restaurants to chose from. Even a standard room it was spacious and comfortable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Sunset bar is a MUST. It offers a fantastic vewi of sunset and nice drinks with discout during the happy hour!
